3. Creating a Logo
Your company ‘JogsTech’ are creating a
video to advertise a new piece of
technology.
All adverts contain the company logo
either at the beginning, or at the end of
the video.

What attributes does a professional
logo have?
– Must stand out
– Not too many colours
– Clear text
– Suitable images
– Simple
– Memorable
6. Your Task
In today’s lesson you will need to create
a logo for JogsTech.
Success Criteria
– The size should be 5inches x 5inches
– You must have a white background
– You must have at least 1 shape or image
– You must have JogsTech written
– Your colours must be professional
7. Last Stage
Once you have completed your logo you
should export it into you 8C folder.
You will now need to complete the Logo
Evaluation form which can be
downloaded from Jogle.
Editor's Notes
As students enter class, show this image. They should try and name as many as they can. Ask students what attributes they have. Try to push for simple, clear text, plain colours.
Students think for 30 seconds and then feedback to the class via QA what they think makes a good logo. Once all answers are in share the list with the class.
Show video to the class then give a demonstration on how to use the software.
