the length and volume of their
soundtrack (level 5)
• Some students will combine more than
one sound in their video (level 6)
5. Finding Sound
You will need to listen to different
sounds on Jogle and select the one that
would fit best with your viral ad.
You will need to right click on it and
save it to your 8C folder.
6. Your Task
In today’s lesson you will need to add
sound to your viral ad. Once you have
got your sound you should continue to
add text, images and video to your ad.
Success Criteria
– You will have at least 1 sound
– You can shorten the length of the sound
– You can change the volume of the sound
7. Review Learning
Using the self evaluation task on Jogle
you will need to explain why you have
chosen your sound and how it enhances
your viral ad.
Editor's Notes
Show students the video and ask students what adjectives describe how they feel about the video. Talk about how music can change the feeling of the video.
Show students how to insert sound, edit the length and change the volume. Student then spend 5 minutes listening to the different sounds they can pick from.
