1. JURUSAN PARIWISATA BUDAYA IHDN DENPASAR MELAKSANAKAN
KULIAH LAPANGAN PARIWISATA
Jurusan Pariwisata Budaya IHDN Denpasar melaksanakan kuliah lapangan pariwisata, Rabu
(08/05). Kegiatan tersebut diikuti oleh mahasiswa Program studi Industri Perjalanan.
Kuliah lapangan ini merupakan bagian dari pembentukan kompetensi sebagai pramuwisata.
Baik menambah pemahaman dan wawasan tentang daya tarik wisata budaya, penguasaan
teknik memandu, maupun menumbuhkan sikap mental yang menjunjung tinggi nilai2 budaya
lokal. (Hindu).
Melalui tour tersebut mahasiswa tidak hanya dapat kesempatan mempraktekan ilmu yang
didapat di kelas tetapi memperkaya pengetahuan dari observasi langsung dan penjelasan ahli
para pelaku industri pariwisata
Dengan demikian mahasiswa diharapkan dapat menggali pengetahuan melalui pengalaman
dengan rasa penuh sukacita selama berkegiatan. Sementara itu Wakil Dekan I Fak. Dharma
Duta I Ketut Arta Widana, SS, M.Par menambahkan bahwa dalam kegiatan kuliah lapangan
tahun ini diharapkan mahasiswa dapat mengeksplorasi pengalamannya secara nyata dan dapat
melihat perkembangan pariwisata secara global.
Pada pemanduan kali ini, mahasiswa mengunjungi pusat pembuatan batik tulis di Batik
Bidadari. Pusat kerajinan perak yang memiliki koleksi mewah Angel to Angel, mengunjungi
rumah tradisional Bali, Kintamani dan belajar tentang budidaya kopi serta proses pembuatan
kopi di salah satu usaha agrowisata. (a/w)
2. THE CULTURAL TOURISM DEPARTMENT OF INSTITUT HINDU DHARMA
NEGERI DENPASAR CARRIED OUT TOURISM FIELD COURSES
The Cultural Tourism Department of Institut Hindu Dharma Negeri Denpasar carried out
tourism field courses on Wednesday, May 8th, 2019. The activity was attended by the students
of Travel Industry Study Program.
This field lecture is a part of developing competencies as a guide. Both increasing
understanding and insight into a cultural tourist attraction, mastering guiding techniques and
cultivating mental attitudes that uphold local cultural values (Hindu).
Through the tour, students do not only have the possibility to practice the knowledge acquired
in the classroom but they can also enrich their knowledge from direct observation and
explanations from experts in the tourism industry.
Thus, students are expected to be able to explore knowledge through experiences with a sense
of joy during their activities. Meanwhile, the Deputy Dean I of Dharma Duta Faculty, I Ketut
Arta Widana, SS, M.Par. added that in this year's field lecture students are demanded to be able
to explore their expertise in real terms and capable to see the development of tourism globally.
At this time guiding, students visited the manufacturing center of batik in Bidadari Batik. The
silver center, which has a luxurious collection of Angel to Angel, visited a traditional Balinese
house, Kintamani, and learned about coffee cultivation as well as the process of making coffee
in one of the agro-tourism businesses. (a / w)
