ASEAN Students Visit India
Started in 2007, this program aims to enable ASEAN students to learn more about the
modern vibrant India in economic, cultural, historical, leadership and academic issues. The
program also focuses on building closer entrepreneurship partnerships among the youths,
emphasizing business and academic exchanges in knowledge and creative industry
sectors.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh of India believes that ASVI will be a perfect tool to build
greater economic and cultural understanding between the two dynamic Asian regions.
The previous ASVI have enriched the knowledge of the participants, providing them with
new insights on the vast diversity of India’s people and cultures as well as a glimpse into
the way the country manages various issues.

ASEAN Students Visit India
In ten days of the program, participants visited some
Universities, number of manufacture companies,
research center, educational centers of excellence, and
business houses in several cities of India including
Mumbai, Hyderabad, Agra, Gurgaon and New Delhi.
During the last 2015 program, participants visited and
Center of Good Governance of India and courtesy call
to Embassy of Indonesia in New Delhi. Participants
were also invited to visit the tourist attraction such as
the Taj Mahal, Golconda Fort, Shiparamam Craft
Village, Dilli Haat, and Gateway to India.

Main Goals
• Creating brotherhood and mutual understanding among nations through ASEAN
Youth in order to make a world peace and corporation.
• Understanding the responsibility and gain the partnership in sake of national
development and international development
• Giving the wider perspective and new insights to advance the youth activity
Special Goals
• Giving the basic competence about entrepreneurship in International level
• Growing the entrepreneurship skills including social entrepreneurship so it will be
beneficial for social goods
• Promoting Indonesian culture and diversity to International forum
