This document outlines a process for using Consul and DNS to dynamically route streams between Nginx instances. It involves launching a Consul cluster, configuring Kube-DNS to use Consul for DNS resolution, registering each published stream in Consul with the Nginx IP address, and resolving the stream's unique DNS name in Consul to route to the correct Nginx instance. When a stream is played, its name would be resolved through Consul DNS to the IP of the Nginx holding that stream. This allows streams to be pulled from one Nginx to another in a dynamic way.

Docker Networking is a feature of Docker Engine that allows you to create virtual networks and attach containers to them so you can create the network topology that is right for your application. The networked containers can even span multiple hosts, so you don’t have to worry about what host your container lands on. They can seamlessly communicate with each other wherever they are - thus enabling true distributed applications.
And Networking is pluggable, so you can use any third-party networking driver to power your networks without having to make any changes to your application.

This document proposes an alternative to the XenStore called NoXS. The goals of NoXS are to provide a simple and specialized mechanism for storing domain and device information that is efficient, fast and has few lines of code. Rather than using a centralized daemon, NoXS would store this information in memory pages directly accessible to domains. The design of NoXS includes Device Information Pages and Device Control Pages to store data about devices and allow control of guest VMs. Initial implementations have been done for Linux guests and the Chaos toolstack. Further work remains to complete features like crash recovery and device hotplugging. Performance tests show NoXS can significantly reduce domain boot times compared to using the standard XenStore.

In this talk, I'll explain IPFS, a project intended to replace HTTP and build a better web. IPFS is a peer-to-peer hypermedia protocol to make the web faster, safer, and more open. In addition, IPFS will use Filecoin as a reward mechanism. Filecoin aims to provide a decentralized network for digital storage through which users can effectively rent out their spare capacity, receiving filecoins as payment. Filecoin raised 200M$ last month, breaking all records in blockchain ICOs to date.

Cisco asa dhcp services

Building Linux IPv6 DNS Server (Draft Copy)
This document summarizes an academic project report on building a DNS server that supports IPv6 name resolution. The project configured a server with full IPv4 and IPv6 support in hosts and routers. It used IPv6 over IPv4 encapsulation to carry IPv6 packets over an IPv4 network. The objective was to set up a Linux IPv6 DNS server to allow IPv6 name resolution using the latest version of BIND. The project created a dual IP stack node with full IPv4 and IPv6 support by configuring the kernel using shell and C programming scripts.

Nat pat
NAT is used to translate private IP addresses to public IP addresses to allow access to the internet. There are different types of NAT including static NAT for one-to-one mapping, dynamic NAT for mapping multiple private addresses to public addresses from a pool, and NAT overload/PAT which maps multiple private addresses to a single public address using port addressing. The document provides configuration examples for static, dynamic, and overload NAT on a Cisco router.
