During the past fifteen plus years, I have been employed in this role with area service
garages supervising a team of Auto Mechanics and multi-bay garages, specializing in domestic and
foreign cars. I was responsibility for all facets of the business operation including sales, customer
service, billing/invoicing, inventory and spare parts, and use of state-of-the-art diagnostic
equipment.
While in this role, I consistently lowered costs, improved productivity, increased sales
revenue, and bottom-line profitability. I achieved these goals by coaching, mentoring and
developing high performance teams. I used goal setting and performance metrics as a baseline for
one-stop service reliability, continuous quality improvement and a philosophy of doing a job right
the first time. I built and retained clients' loyalty and leveraged their trust to up-sell and cross-sell
parts and services. Finally, I live a philosophy of never accepting mediocrity, or the status quo.
