This document summarizes a study that tested the use of the INIMOVE Complex (IC) for repetitive training of the paretic hand in stroke patients doing home rehabilitation. 10 stroke patients used the IC at home for 4 weeks after initial instruction. Assessments found that all patients improved their occupational performance and satisfaction, with improvements ranging from 0.3 to 5.6 points. Most patients found the IC fun and motivating to use, though exercise intensity varied from 3 sessions per week to 3 per day. The study suggests the IC is an effective tool to improve hand function for stroke patients in home rehabilitation.
