16. Another potential metadata mismatch
When the discovery service provider gets the data from the publisher, but we
subscribe to an aggregator.
- Does the aggregator also get the same data as the discovery service
provider?
When the aggregator derives their metadata from a scanned print version.
- Page 1 on print version is not always the same as page 1 on the online
version.
17. User’s Expectation
Based on the trouble tickets that came so far:
- One-click convenience might alter user’s expectation
- They most likely only care whether they can access the
information
- Users don’t really look at the additional information
- Still, it’s useful for troubleshooting
18. User’s Expectation
- When the link doesn’t work, users don’t always try to redo a
search on the target database
- Article not found == we don’t have it.
