Jrotc Essay
Crafting an essay on the topic of JROTC (Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps) can present
both challenges and opportunities for the writer. On one hand, the subject matter is specific and
requires a nuanced understanding of the program, its goals, and its impact on individuals and
communities. On the other hand, the richness of the topic allows for a deep exploration of
themes such as leadership, discipline, patriotism, and the development of young cadets.
The difficulty lies in striking a balance between providing comprehensive information about
JROTC and infusing the essay with personal insights and reflections. It demands the ability to
convey a genuine understanding of the program's significance while also expressing a unique
perspective that captures the essence of the writer's experience or viewpoint.
Moreover, writing a compelling JROTC essay involves conducting thorough research to gather
relevant facts, figures, and anecdotes that support the key arguments. This can be time-
consuming, especially for those unfamiliar with military education programs. Additionally, the
essay must be structured coherently, with a clear introduction, body paragraphs that logically
flow, and a conclusion that ties everything together.
Finding the right tone is another challenge. The essay should be respectful and appreciative of
the JROTC program while still allowing for critical analysis and personal expression. Striking
this balance requires careful consideration of language and tone throughout the writing process.
In conclusion, while composing a JROTC essay may pose certain challenges, it is ultimately a
rewarding endeavor that allows the writer to delve into a subject of significance. With
dedication, research, and a thoughtful approach, one can produce an essay that not only meets
academic requirements but also resonates with readers. For those seeking assistance with similar
essays or different topics, a variety of writing services are available, such as HelpWriting.net,

The Five Types Of Government In Ancient Greece
Ancient Greece consisted of several hundred polies or city states. Many of them
were villages or small towns, but there were two big and powerful Greek polies,
Athens and Sparta.
Athens was a cultural and economic powerhouse, and the birthplace of democracy.
Sparta was an imperial city state, and had two kings (Brand, n.d.). (1)
There were five types of f government in Ancient Greece: monarchy, aristocracy,
oligarchy, tyranny and democracy.
Monarchy
Monarchy is undivided rule or absolute sovereignty by a single person (Merriam
webster.com, n.d., 1). (2)
In the Greek world monarchies were rare, and were distinguishable from a tyranny
when the monarch ruled in interest of his people. The most monarchies were
Macedonia and Epeiros, where the ruler shared power with assembly. Although
Sparta also had a citizen assembly, and two kings, but they were not absolute
monarchs. They had great power when they led Spartan army in the war, but in the
peace, they were kept in check by Ephors who were elected by assembly. The kings
were also members of the Gerousia and were admitted from a young age, so they
must have had a significant advantage over the other members who couldn t join until
they were 60 (Cartwright, 2013). (3)
Aristocracy
Aristocracy is government by those considered to be the best or most able people in
the state (Dictionary.com, n.d., 3). (4)
Aristocracy as Plato and Aristotle invented is a governance by the best few who were
superior morally and

4.) Hello, this is Mala. I am sadly married to Vladek. I don t even know why I am still
here. He treats me horribly and doesn t give me respect. I only came back to him
because I felt bad. I mean, he s dying and such. I would like him to change for me. I
would like some trust and respect. I would appreciate if he could let me buy my
person items when i buy groceries. He makes me use my own money to buy
personal items. He has so much money and is a very cheap man. If he changes, I
will stay with him. My biggest problem would have to be the trust. He won t even

If you are African American sitting with a bunch of Caucasian people, you will get
judged. Racism still hasn t changed from the 1930 s 1940 s. Today is not as bad as
when the Holocaust was going on. Back then, you got killed if you were a Jew.
Today if you are mexican, African American, Caucasian, etc. , you will not be
murdered for being that certain race. Back then had it way worse. Especially with
survival. Many Jews had to hide or leave their families to survive. Today, if you want
to have a roof over your head and be able to feed your family, you have to work and
survive. The prices of every product known to man, has rapidly increased. In
California, medium prices for houses are $500,000. It wasn t so expensive back in
the 1940 s. Our survival today isn t as extreme as it was back in 1940. They had to
fight for their lives so they wouldn t get killed. We have to fight to have a roof over
our heads and food for everyone. There were many refugees in 1940. They had to
leave Germany to be able to survive. Germany was killing all Jews, so the Jews had
to become refugees. Overall, these issues are still important today. Everyone needs
to survive in this world. There will always be that one racist person. There will
always be a refugee
God Of The Earth Essay
Darkness fills a land where evil is barely contained, illuminated by the five gushing
rivers that characterize the land, each unique to their region of hell. At the center,
the infamous river of Styx flows from Oceanus, creating a boundary between the
land of the living and the land of the dead. The Kokytos river branches southward
off of Styx feeding into the marsh. On the other side of the marsh, the Acheron river
ebbs and flows southeast. Northwest of Styx, towards the Gates of Ivory lays the
waters of Lethe, the river of forgetfulness. Circling the Northern region of Tartarus
flows Phlegethon, winding like a python ready to choke the life out of its prey. Close

Mi lady, came a death whisper that filled the silence in an uncanny hollow way. Mi
lord has returned.
Proserpina was sure that the spirit could hear her heart rate that was pounding in her
ears. She forced her sob down and refused to cry out in agony. Hades was damned to
this land just as much as she was, and there was no shock that he had returned. She
just thought she had a few more days free of her husband, king, and tormentor. Not
for the first time her anger for Jupiter burned in her heart, for surely he would have
control over Pluto enough to force her release, but no the gods were powerless. Not
for the first time, Proserpina wished she would have died slowly instead of eating
those seeds prolonging her suffering.
Mi lady, whispered the laureus. With the speed of Mercury, Proserpina unsheathed
her dagger and launched it towards the laureus head. With a hellish scream the
demon dissipated before her. Proserpina grinned at her blade, as she bent to pick it
up and place it back in its sheathe. If only she could do that to her husband, she
would be free.
Proserpina followed the spirit through the palace and went to the throne room at the
heart of the palace. Her husband stood regally on his dais and leered down at her as
she approaches the steps the way he did every time she was summoned. Breathing
deep through her nose, she performed the ridiculous roman ritual he demanded
Business Writing
Improving Business Writing
Why is writing important in business? Writing is essential in any form of business.
We use writing in all types of communication such as: email, facsimile, letter writing,
etc. Writing skills are important to the business professional because it prepares the
workplace for well written business communications. The three topics I will cover
can serve as an outline for improving writing skills in businesses. The topics are
principles of business writing, how to write an effective business letter, and how to
improve business writing within the company. These topics will aid in examining and
improving our company s employees writing skills.
First, there are four principles of writing: Empathy, ... Show more content on

Following the Attention Line is the Body. The body contains detailed information
about the topic. The body includes the introductory paragraph, one or more body
paragraphs, and a concluding paragraph. Finally, there is the closing. The closing
is usually ended with a complementary closing and signature. A list of examples
include: Sincerely, Cordially, Best regards, and Yours very truly. Remember to
capitalize the first word in the complimentary closing and end it with a comma.
After the closing, there is a copy line. When the copy line is used, other people
know who will be receiving a copy. The copy line usually includes a symbol: c: for
copy, pc: for photocopy, and bc: blind copy (used only to limit readers of other
copies). The names of the recipients should follow these symbols listed in
organizational rank (Writing@CSU: Writing Guide, 2004, p. 1). All of the
components discussed above are effective ways to write an effective business letter.
An effective business letter speaks to a specific reader. Therefore, the right type of
business letter must reach the reader. The most common types of business letters are:
1) Acknowledgement Letters, 2) Adjustment Letters, 3) Complaint Letters, 4) Inquiry
Letters, 5) Order Letters, and Response Letters. (Writing@CSU: Writing Guide, 2004
p. 1). These type letters helps guide the reader to understanding what the writer
intended. Nothing can be more

Teaching And Learning For Students
Many school systems believe that the only effective way for students to learn is
through direct instruction. This isn t the only way, but it is the most common way
throughout America. Direct instruction is the easiest way for teachers to instruct to a
whole group and students are used to this type of instruction. But that style of
teaching isn t exactly the best way for students to learn and retain information. One of
the most effective ways for students to learn is through differentiated instruction.
Differentiated instruction is a framework for effective teaching that involves
providing different students with different avenues to learn. This style of instruction
allows for the curriculum to adapt to certain needs and interests of individual
students. (Bravmann) Making this instruction one of the most effective styles of
teaching. It also gives both the teachers and the students more of an opportunity to
learn in different ways that will help them to be successful in the long run. Since this
type of instruction involves a ton of work many teachers don t use it because they
don t have the time but it is really worth the time, especially for the students who don
t learn like everyone else when it comes to direct instruction. One of the best
examples of differentiated instruction comes from The Ron Clark film which is about
who is a man from North Carolina who moved to New York and had the chance to
change the lives of students through differentiated instruction. He
Case Study Approach Is Often Associated With Descriptive...
Case study approach is often associated with descriptive and explanatory research.
The research problem is usually how and why problem, thus resulting in a descriptive
or explanatory study (Cooper Schindler, 2011). How or why questions are being
posed, when the focus is on a contemporary phenomenon within some real life
context. Case studies usually provide qualitative rather than quantitative data for
analysis and interpretation (Yin, 2003). Case studyrefers to qualitative, analysis of
case studies, and field based construction. It also a description of a management
situation. Case study involves data collection through verbal reports, personal
interviews, or observation as the primary data. The main feature is the intensity of the
study of the object, individual, group, organization, culture, incident, or situation
(Ghauri GrГёnhaug, 2010).
A combination of both semi structures and open ended or unstructured interviewing
was carried out and a variety of organizational documentary records and observations
were gathered to collaborate evidence and the data can be triangulate (Yin, 2003).
The characteristic of research designs serves as a background for considering the
specific designs for case studies. Case study may be progress in a variety of ways.
According to Yin (2003), there are six types of case study, defined along two
definitions:
1.In terms of the number of cases: single or multiple.
2.In terms of the purpose of study: explanatory, descriptive,
Descriptive Essay On Candy
Being a young boy, I wasn t the brightest light bulb in the ceiling. I was the kind of
kid that could get good grades, but when told to put an ice bag in the freezer, I
accidently put it in the fridge. A person that would go to a parade, and take the good
pieces of candy that they threw. It was not one of the smartest things I ve done in my
life. At this parade, I would steal candy, go to the nearby park, and play tennis. At the
parade, things were starting off very slow. It was very boring for me as a kid, so I
had to try to entertain myself. One of the first things I tried doing at this parade
was try to spider climb up the wall of a building. The roughness of the bricks I
would try to grab would cut my small, fragile fingers and then the blood would start
pouring out. I knew that if I was in the ocean, a shark would smell it from miles
away and gobble me up as if I was a turtle. The boredom was eating me to death, but
then I noticed that they were throwing candy at the crowd. I ran up to get some, so
excited to put the delicious pieces of sugar into my mouth. After getting an absurd
amount of candy, I saw my favorite type; a Hershey s chocolate bar. As I was
running to get it, I saw a little kid was about to grab the delicious tantalizing
chocolate bar(probably about 6 or 7 years old), I snatched it from his mitts. I then
realised my step dad, Brian, watched me do that, scolded me then told me to go back
over there and give it to the 6 year old. After that incident I

Who Is Desdemona s Fidelity In Othello
Put out the light and then put out the light (V.II.7). There is a moral theme in the play
Othello that shows a path from the light into the darkness. The infectivity of jealousy
darkens the moral compass of everybody it touches causing the destruction of many
lives. Jealousy refers to the thoughts and feelings of insecurity, fear, concern, and
anxiety over the status of something of personal value; how Othellovalues Desdemona
s fidelity. When jealousytakes root in a mind it causes them to act irrationally and act
against what they usually would. Iagois a man blinded by envy and anger. He has a
goal in mind for everyone to become equally jealous. He completes this goal through
his betrayal and manipulation of characters, specifically Othello. In Othello, Iago
aids the path of jealousy s destruction of lives by implementing it in everyone else s
minds.
Roderigo loves Desdemona and would anything for her, but when she marries
Othello, Roderigo becomes jealous of him. Iago realizes this and convinces
Roderigo to pay him to get Desdemona to love him back. Iago gains Roderigo s trust

Iago tells Othello to beware, my lord, of jealousy! (III.III.195) referring to how
jealousy can destroy people. Hearing this, Othello immediately thinks of Cassio
and Desdemona since Desdemona was just pleading for Cassio s sake. This
paradox of Othello knowing that jealousy can destroy him but still allowing it to
consume his thoughts shows the weakness of Othello. As Iago continues to plant
more and more images of Desdemona and Cassio in Othello s head, Iago gains
respect from Othello and eventually gains the title of lieutenant which he so
desperately wanted. Even though he finally has what he wants, there is still the issue

Trifles- Battle of the Sexes Essay
The struggle between the male and female gender has long seen its differences
throughout our American history. Prior to 1848, women did not have a voice or a
valued opinion; they were simply thought of as unseen and unintelligent. It took
nearly 72 years before the 19th amendment to our Constitution was signed into law,
granting women the right to vote (Infoplease). During the early part of the twentieth
century, the duties and structures of women s lives would have predisposed them to
approach a problem from a different angle than that of men and even today, despite
the significant changes in women s lives and opportunities since mid century, women
s responsibilities and concerns tend to remain somewhat distinct from men s

Wright as a withdrawn woman married to a taciturn and stingy farmer, childless,
nearly friendless and completely isolated on an Iowa farmstead. Almost every
action of the farmwives in this play is designed to make Minnie s presence felt,
something that had been long lost (Noe). The concept of the unseen woman
continues when Mrs. Hale rescues the surviving jar of Mrs. Wright s cherry
preserves, when both women gather clothes to take to jail and when Mrs. Hale
begins to sit in the rocking chair; we feel as if that third woman is on stage (Noe).
Mrs. Hale completes an action begun by Mrs. Wright when she takes out the
sewing basket and finishes a badly sewn piece and later she finds the empty
birdcage and silk wrapped dead canary. These actions enable us to envision Mrs.
Wright working in her kitchen on the d ay of the murder and reconstruct the events
that precipitated it (Noe). The setting functions metonymically, standing for the
unseen woman, who, in turn, represents the unseen American women of her day,
relegated to the domestic sphere and excluded from positions of power (Noe). The
absence of the woman who is central to these spaces de familiarizes her; making her
less hospitable to the characters that we do see (Noe). Mrs. Hale and Mrs. Peters
reflect this feeling of discomfort with their environment by the slow and hesitating
way that they move about and talk in Mrs. Wright s kitchen. Stage directions indicate
that Mrs. Hale is disturbed now and looks
Liesel Mueller s What The Dog Perhaps Hears
Liesel Mueller s What the Dog Perhaps Hears is a poem about change. Mueller
uses figurative language appealing to a person s sense of hearing. With this imagery,
Mueller conveys that change is silent and often goes by unnoticed. The narrator asks
the dog if he can hear the asparagus heaving headfirst or the roots mining the earth.
Because dogs have a more acute sense of hearing than humans do, the narrator is, in
a way, asking if perhaps the dog can hear the change oncoming, because humans
cannot. This is especially prominent in the last stanza, which states that For us there
was no birth cry...and we heard nothing when the world changed. With other images
such as the continuous whir because the child in the house keeps growing and the
sound of spiders breathing, the narrator sets a tranquil scene where silence is not out
of the ordinary. But in turn, the narrator questions if the silence is not silence at all,
but the sounds of change that are above the shut off level of our simple ears. ... Show

nature and the aspects of a rural lifestyle. This time in her life offers many
inspirations for her, as many of her poems speak of domestic and semi rural life.

Alexander the Great s Impact on the World Essays
Alexander the Great is without doubt one of the greatest military leaders of history.
Not only did Alexander of Macedon conquer enormous areas of the known world but
also he demonstrated dynamic leadership and masterful strategy on a large scale and
tactics on the battlefield. During his life, he ruled the largest empire the world had
ever seen, which stretched from ancient Greeceto India. The son of King Phillip II of
Macedon, Alexander was educated by the philosopher Aristotle and first led
Macedonian troops at age 18. Many times Alexander was worshipped as a god in
some of the countries he ruled. He had a huge impact on world history spreading the
seeds of western culture and philosophy across the world and has legends and stories

The men in his army, families, historians, philosophers, poets, scientists and others
traveling with Alexander carried their Western customs with them and he made sure
to place Greek and Macedonian people in charge of his conquests along the way. As a
result, Western culture mixed with Eastern culture to create a new culture throughout
Alexander s Empire.
Many people fail to realize that Alexander has had a definite affect on us today,
although not as great as he would have had on people of the past. In most parts the
world today, Alexander The Great is considered a legend; however, in some
places, Alexander is considered a god. One of the most notable people in history,
Alexander has reached an iconic status in our world today. He possibly may have
even been referred to in the Quran (Surah 18:89 98). There are still many stories
told about him including folktales, and movies. In modern Iran, Alexander is still
known as an evil king who nearly destroyed the ancient Persian culture and religion.
Although the effect of Alexander Mania has died down since the time of his reign,
you can still see the mark that he has left on today s world.
One particular side effect that Alexander s conquests inspired admiration in the
military leaders that followed after him, though he may have also made them feel a
bit of status anxiety. Scipio Africanus, and his
How Did Shakespeare Influence The Renaissance
In Italy, for 30 years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder and
bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and the

Forunately the answer is YES. Though they are hardly few in number and have
hardly any or no presence in Indian political system but their emergence is a good
sign for Indian democracy and people. Parties like Bharat Punarnirman Dal (BPD)
formed Shobit Gupta or Lok Paritran formed by Tanmay Rajpurohit or The Youth
for Equality (YFE) a political party formed by medical, engineering and law
students. The biggest differences that one can notice between these 2 types of
smaller parties is in the area of members of party and their agenda. The newly
formed parties are formed by educated guys (dont interpret education as having
some degree) who have intentions of working towards the development of Indian
community as a whole as compared to the regional parties like RJD, SP etc who
have huge list of chargesheeted people and try to select people on the basis of
their power (may it be goon power) and money. The biggest apathy is that after so

Persuasive Essay On Climate Change Burdens
Climate change is a global challenge and will require global cooperation on how to
share the burdens of tackling this problem. Overwhelming evidence confirms that
anthropogenic climate change is, and will, have catastrophic consequences on
humanity and the planet humanity depends upon. Therefore rapid action is required.
Climate changeburdens consist of mitigation, adaptation and compensation, and
there needs to be agreement among states on how to fairly share these burdens. If
burdens are distributed based on fair and just principles, then states and individuals
will be more likely to comply with their duties. Consequently, normative theorising
is necessary to solve the burden sharing problem, which is a major obstacle to a
global climate change response. One such principle is if you broke it, you should
fix it , which can be approximated as the historical polluter pays principle. The
question of whether there is a better alternative to this implies questioning if there is
a more fair and just alternative burden sharing principle. Therefore, a method of

The Commerce Tavern Essay
The Commerce Tavern
Executive Summary
The Commerce Tavern was a popular restaurant located in Merchants Square,
Colonial Williamsburg. H. Franklin Nilson established The Commerce in 1982, and
he has been operating this restaurant very well. Recently, Nilson had a conversation
with Anne Hamlet from The Virginia Merchants Bank about the acceptance of credit
card consumption at The Commerce Tavern. VMB was willing to give The
Commerce authorization of the use of MasterCard and Visa cards at the tavern.
However, the general payment method of The Commerce was cash only, Nilson was
not sure if this traditional method could always working well for his business in a
long term, and if he should make some changes on the cash only policy. In ... Show

In view of the background of The Commerce Tavern, it had excellent conditions to
attract customers, so this advantage would not be influenced by the change of
payment method.
Looking at the credit cards agreement
The standard bank credit card participation agreement from VMB stated in detail the
responsibilities of The Commerce Tavern, especially checking the expiration date of
the card, making sure that the card number did not be restricted or revoked, etc. It
also stated that VMB would credit The Commerce immediately for the face amount
of the sales slip subtract the fees calculated at the rate that time.
About the rate, Hamlet told Nilson VMB would charge The Commerce, a new
participant, at the rate of 4 percent, and this rate would remain for one year.
However, at the end of the year, VMB would reset the rate according to The
Commerce s credit card sales of the total year.
The rule of setting the rate was shown as follows: Credit card sales ($)| Rate|
Greater than 5000,000| 2%| Between 200,000 and 5000,000| 3%| Less than 200,000|
4%|
Analysis of the credit card usage
Hamlet provided a chart with credit card usage information of other restaurants to
Nilson, which could be used to estimate the rate of The Commerce after one year.
Due to Nilson was familiar with all the restaurants on the list, there were eight
restaurants could be used for reference.

Characterization Of Windgap In Sharp Objects
In the story Sharp Objects , the town of Windgap and its people play a major role in
the build of the text. A society is full of people who think they know each other. They
may learn things about their neighbors through direct contact or word from anothers
mouth in which builds the identity of its population. Either way, you never know
exactly what you re dealing with and whether or not what you have heard could just
be a result of fiction. People take this information they hear and build a person into
their own character. You can think of society as its own fictional story book.
Within its setting, the town the story may be based is filled with people. These

A person can also experience change within their character involving the views of
the society around them. You could have been an ugly child all your life and grow
up to be beautiful. Society will identify you as what the have seen or heard and act
on this characterization by how they treat you. People within these societies listen
to every detail about another and build the person into the character the story of
their life portrays them to be. This also corrupts people s actions. They worry
constantly about what they do and what others think, because whatever character
society thinks of you you ultimately become. Adora Preaker is known as a
beautiful, rich, and powerful woman within the story of the town of Windgap.
People looks up to her and praise her by the reputation she has received and she
keeps it that way. She lets people see what she wants them to and she hides the
person she doesn t want people to know of. Her closest friends can go their whole

The Era Of Homer By Homer
The Era of Homer Although we cannot be sure of when Homer lived, we know he
played a significant role in the formation of the literature of ancient Greece.
Researchers believe that he probably lived somewhere around 8th century BC and
was possibly one of the first literate authors. Other theories suggest that he only
spoke his epics and they were put into writing by others. Homer s stories show us
the first glimpse of documented information of Greek myth and religion. Most
important was the creation of Homer s writing style named the Homeric epic. He
was the first author to write epics and his writing style held strongly as the first
major literature of its type in western civilization. Homer is considered a
groundbreaking author of his time period because of his reoccurring themes and
characteristics, his creation of the epic poem, and his significance to literature.
The Homeric epic was a groundbreaking literary style for its time. Because Homer
lived so long ago, we are not sure if it truly was the first of its kind, but it was the
first recorded epic and it led the way for many authors after Hector. Many of his
works are written to form an epic cycle. The repetition of entire sentences was also a
style unique to Homer s work. It brought emphasis and unity to these sections of the
stories. Another literary example he used was hexameter verse. This produced a
swift slowing movement to the stories and gave a form of structure to the verse
showing Homer s true
The Field Of Cosmetics And The Treatment Of Injuries,...
Today, the field of cosmetics and the treatment of injuries, skin, and hair ailments
have gained the attention of doctors all over the world. While multiple treatment
methods have been examined, preference remains for the safest and the most
effective method. Recently, treatment with PRP has been established as an effective
medical treatment in many fields, such as oral surgery, neurosurgery, cosmetic
surgery, sports medicine, and orthopedics. Platelets are one of the essential
components found in blood, known best for their importance in coagulation. They
contain proteins known as growth factors that play an essential role in healing
damaged tissue (Lubkowska et al., 2012). The normal range of platelets in healthy

Despite these variations, all protocols follow the same sequence: blood sample
collection, a soft spin for separating blood components, followed by a hard spin for
concentrating the platelets, in the presence or absence of anticoagulants, and growth
factor activators.
Kececi, Ozsu, and Bilgir (2014) examined the effect of the number of spins on the
platelet recovery during centrifugation. Both single and double centrifugation
methods were used to prepare the PRP. Two sets of blood samples were drawn
from 10 adult New Zealand rabbits. The blood samples were added into 10%
sodium citrate and centrifuged; The first group was single centrifuged at 160 G for
6 minutes at room temperature, while the second group was double centrifuged, the
first spin was at 160 G for 20 minutes at room temperature, followed by the second
spin at 400 G for 15 minutes. Average platelet amount collected from the second
group (1,986,875 В± 685,020/Ојl) was greater than the first group (781,875 В±
217,693/Ојl). According to Amable et al. (2013) different centrifugal forces have
been applied to obtain pure PRP from the blood samples obtained of healthy donors
(4.5 ml of WB), using a refrigerated high speed centrifuge, with speeds reaching up
to 30,000 rpm (rotation per minute). Since the lower centrifugal force (less than 300

Analysis Of Donald Trump And The Injustice Of The 43...
In this essay, I argue the government separating rather than bridging the United States.
The main points I show in my essay are the language being used by Donald Trump
and the injustice of the 43 missing students in Mexico. We should be concerned about
the government because it has gone corrupt letting people run for President such as
Donald Trumpthat is targeting minorities. In Mexiconot helping the parents solve the
case of their innocent children is a problem when the government should be doing
their job. This causes violence amongst people and the government when we should
leaning on them for support and protection. We should be concerned about the

Literature Review In writing about my topic I read many articles from Goldman that
were about Donald Trump and the series of The 43 Missing Students. I read the
articles to help me understand more of the history of Donald Trump and the 43
missing students. The reading helped with my research because it answered my
question and it backed up my opinion. It helps address my thesis stamen because it
brings more main points and truth to my opinion.
Methodology
For this essay I conducted library research such as looking into Ebsco research
premier for articles on Donald Trump s current governmental campaign and the 43
missing student s unknown disappearance trying to make their community better. As
well, reading articles from Francisco Goldman in The New Yorker. Additionally,
interviewing a student to see their perspective of the government separating the
United States instead of bridging it.
Analysis
My research is important because it has to do with the well being of people and
bringing justice to innocent families with evidence showing the separating of the
United States. This is shown by how Donald Trump has caused people in his rallies

Pedro Almodovar Auteur
A film that I found to be interesting and entertaining was Volver (2006) by Pedro
Almodovar. Almodovar is a director that received acclimates of being a very
distinct auteur very early in his career. Almodovar s style and influences are
prominent all throughout Volver. I will be discussing Volver and how it has
become a typical icon film of Almodovar s work. Many of Almodovar s film are
reflective of his upbringing. Almodovar said, You can say my films are melodramas,

has the liberty to go all over the world and film wherever he wants he chooses not to.
Volveris set in two main places. The main story is set in Madrid. Raimunda lives in
Madrid with her daughter. In addition, Madrid is also where the restaurant that
Raimunda takes over is at. In addition to making Madrid one of the places that
Volver takes place at a small portion of the film also takes place in called La

him. For example, La Manca is a place that is familiar to Almodovar. Furthermore,
Almodovar later moved to Madrid as he grew up in order to pursue his film career
although the local film school had just shut down. Volver plot was first mentioned
in one of Almodovar s earlier films called The Flower of My Secret, in which it
was mentioned as a novel which is rejected for publication but it is later stolen to
form a screenplay of a film called The Freezer. Almodovar likes to mention himself
in different aspects. In addition in The Flower of My secret the main character

Media Impact On Immigration

About FAQ Contact
The topic of immigration has been a focus of controversy throughout the entire
international community. Waves of immigration influx in nations have caused surges
in nationalist tendencies amongst political leaders and citizens alike. Fears of cultural
erosion, resource exhaustion, and economic struggle has shown nations that were
once supportive and progressive in their actions towards the acceptance of
immigration have moved inward on themselves to protect themselves from a
culturally diverse world. The reason to review this document is to question and

In the end this document does take a unique approach in showing the extended reach
and influence the media has in shaping the outlooks of citizens on the world and
society wither the events illustrated directly affect the individual or not. The emphasis
on how the media is creating a progressive dilemma through the portrayal of
increasing numbers of immigrants into the nation and the threats this influx has on
the cultural stability and longevity of the nation explains how the citizens of the
nation, wither directly affected by immigration or not, move towards a more
protectionist and nationalist state of mind in order to promote the conservation of
the nation s ethnic culture. The act of addressing the problems with public opinion
when not provided with all of the facts, but only certain facts, does show its colors

to being only lightly addressed here. Being that the biggest problem with this paper
is the fact that there was such a small and focused group of individuals polled, and
no others, it would be best that future research into this matter should contain a
broader range of data, while still focusing on the central topic of how perceived
effects of immigration cause growth in nationalist and

Peter Capaldi Essay On Doctor Who
Peter Capaldi, Doctor Who
After watching the first two episodes of Doctor Who s ninth season, it has become
clear Peter Capaldi is on his way to becoming one for the greatest Doctors, if not the
greatest Doctor Who, of all time. Capaldi s portrayal of The Doctor is truly inspired
by the classic, original series (1963 1989), while still being completely modern.

Those of my generation may favor Baker and Pertwee. All true fans inherently agree

The return of a classic Doctor
Fourth Doctor, Tom Baker
There was no doubt Capaldi found inspiration from classic Doctor Who,
specifically the first four incarnations. Over the course of season eight, I was
personally reminded of both Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker s Doctors. However, it
looks as though we will truly see him become a classic Doctor Who in season 9.
Capaldi s Doctor is a bit cold and distant, much like William Hartnell s First Doctor.
He needs Clara Oswald much like the First Doctor needed his granddaughter Susan.
This Doctor has been described as abrasive, patronising, and cantankerous all of
which can also be said of the Twelfth Doctor.
Patrick Troughton s Second Doctor may have the least influence inspiring this new
version, but the element s are there. This Doctor is known for being a calculating
schemer and manipulator, who acted a bit of a fool to get his enemies to
underestimate him. We certainly saw some of that in the opening two episodes of the

The most common of the two link state protocols is OSPF (Open Shortest Path
First) it is widely used throughout the field (#1) due to it being a non proprietor
protocol as well as its ability to interface with other networks. With OSPF you can
group router into small areas and link them through a back bone when this is done
you create the following a back bone router within the area of the back bone there
is an area border router (ABR), ABR must have one interface in each area meaning
the back bone and the area trying to link to the back bone, OSPF can also connect
to multiple Autonomous System. When configuring OSPF you must assign a

number can range for 1 to 65,535 you can also have more than one each one will

is also distance vectors RIP vs. 1 and 2 (Routing Information Protocol) these work
well on small networks, IGRP (Interior Gateway Routing Protocol) and EIGRP (is
the enhanced version of IGRP). The thing about these two meaning IGRP and
EIGRP is that they are proprietary protocols so they only work
Farewell To Manzanar Analysis
Farewell to Manzanar by Jeanne Wakatsuki Houston is about women who endured
three years of social misfortune in a camp. Jeanne was born on September 26,
1934, in Inglewood, California. She was born to George Wakatsuki and Riku
Wakatsuki. She spent her early childhood in Ocean Park, California. On December
7, 1941 Jeanne and her family said farewell to her father and her brothers as they
take off on their boat. The boat promptly returned and a fellow from the cannery
came running down to the wharf shouting that the Japanese had just bombed Pearl
Harbor (Wakatsuki, 6). That very night Papa went home and burned anything that
could trace them back to their Japanese origins paper, documents, and even the flag
that he had brought back with him from Hiroshima. Even though Papa tried hard
to hide his connections with his Japanese heritage the FBI still arrested him but he
didn t struggle as they took him away he was a man of tremendous dignity
(Wakatsuki, 8) and instead he led them. Soon after Papa s arrest, Mama relocated
the family to the Japanese immigrant ghetto on Terminal Island. For Mama this was
a comfort in the company of other Japanese but for Jeanne it was a frightening
experience. It was the first time she had lived around other people of Japanese
heritage and this fear was also reinforced by the threat that her father would sell her
to the Chinaman if she behaved badly. In this ghetto Jeanne and he ten year old
brother were teased and harassed by the other

this was his signature for all of his killings. After many killings, Rader now sits

Rader used his own unique strategies to kill his numerous victims to fulfill his own

He was an assembler for the Coleman Company from 1972 to 1973. Then in 1974
Rader worked at a Wichita office which dealt with ADT Security Systems, the
company s main idea was was selling and installing commercial alarm systems. All
according to Marilyn Bardsley, this is how Rader learned to disable home security
systems. He would later use this knowledge in his killings. Rader s first victims
were the Otero family, a family of four. As reported by Juan Ignacio, he did not
know these people before committing the murder which he said was a part of his
fantasy. Dennis broke into the family s house by coming in through the unlocked
back door and cutting the phone lines. He confronted the family at gunpoint and
took them into a bedroom. Rader then tied all of them up with rope and
individually suffocated them one by one. He then took the family s car keys and
drove away in escape. After a killing, Dennis was famous for sending letters to the
police and local news. His letters described the specific way of his killings. He
would anonymously send multiple letters each with very specific details of his

Hello is anybody else on?
Hello is this Connie?
This is Connie yes.
Alright Connie this is Brianna and I am with scooter from Billings.
Good morning to you. Good afternoon to us. Wwere are you calling from Connie?
I m calling from New Hampshire, so we are on the east coast
Wonderful that is very good. I can picture it now. Brianna and I are both based in
the UK, as I think you know. So, we are pleased that you could join us Connie and
thank you very much in advance for your time.

You cover the region don t you?
Yes.
So how do you get learning to the people? Are they all in one place or do you have to
distribute it?
Yes. That is a great question. We do both. We have 6 regional centers across the
country. New Hampshire, Jacksonville Floriday, . SO those regional centers house
roughly 1500 associates give or take a few, you know of a couple hundred given
the site we are talking about, but 1500 on average. Some of those roles are service,
some are sales. Some of the programs we run, because we have large groups there
in the building who are local to each other, some might think of a new hire training
coming into service. Entry level position, just starting with Fidelity, we have a
classroom of 20 associates that need a learning experience. We can deliver that face
to face. Our facilitators are local, our audience is local. We have ways and means to
deliver the training in person, face to face. There are other times where we deliver
training virtually. SO we may have a facilitator in Maramack delivering to a class
of say 5, but there are other associates around the country sitting in classrooms or
conference rooms that may have 3 5 or 10 people. It is one facilitator delivering
locally, in person, but virtually across the country.
That training through webinar technology?
Yes, exactly. I would say the third leg would be just self
Main Causes Of The Great Depression
The peak of the U.S. Stock Market in August 1929, which occurred due to an
increase in stock speculation, overshadowed the spiral towards the Great Depression.
The main causes of the Great Depression included the following: furlough of
employees due to decrease in production, procreation of debt, and a mass of bank
loans, that were used to purchase stocks. Although the causes of the Great Depression
seem pertinent to the Great Crash, they do not wholly encompass the event. In
actuality, the Great Crash began on October 18, which is when the stock prices began
to decline. Stockholders noticed the downturn, and many sold off stocks on October
24, Black Thursday. In turn, investors and bankers bought a portion of the sold stocks
to attempt stabilization
How Did Ducati Become 2nd Most Profitable Motorcycle
Maker...
2. How did Ducati become the second most profitable motorcycle maker in the world
despite its small scale?
Platform Approach: Ducati divided the bike into a small number of component and
sub component assemblies. A supplier was responsible for managing and delivering
the component. The platform approach minimizes detailed, multi step assembly
processes. Consequently, fewer Ducati man hours are needed to assemble a
motorcycle. The assembly expertise of each component is concentrated at the
supplier so that Ducati assemblers can apply higher value labor on the overall bike
assembly.
High Degree of Component Outsourcing: As of 2001, Ducati outsourced 87% of its
components to suppliers. The company planned to increase that rate to 90%. As ...

This too protects Ducati from Japanese substitutions.
Ducati has developed and managed their value chain very well. This contributes
substantially to their strong position. I ve already discussed Ducati s effective
management of Inbound Logistics and Operations. Ducati s Outbound Logistics
approach is oriented around brand management in each of its markets. This is
accomplished through dedicated, single franchise dealerships instead of multi
franchise dealerships. This decision means that Ducati seeks a high value customer
experience with lower volumes in lieu of a mass market approach. This is a strategy
that is consistent with being a niche player; it makes sense for the Japanese firms to
have multi franchise dealerships since they are close substitutes of each other.
Marketing and Sales represents Ducati s most significant growth opportunities
because their brand management strategy advances the Ducati name into the
consciousness of their markets. In addition to motorcycles, Ducati extends the
brand by selling accessories and apparel. For sure, Ducati owners will buy these
products but perhaps more importantly, the aspirational aspect of the brand drives
people to buy Ducati branded items even if they don t own the bike. This behavior
is seen with the Harley Davidson brand: many people wear H D clothing and
Fire Wire Advantages And Disadvantages
Fire Wire is a standard high performance cable, used to connect multiple devices
together or to a computer. Fire Wire is also capable of very high speed
communications and quick real time data transfer. It is also called the IEEE 1394 .
The number of pins on a Fire Wire cable can vary, it can either have 4,6 or 9 pins.
The maximum voltage it can carry is 30 volts. The data exchange rates on a standard
Fire Wire 400, also called the IEEE 1394a , can go as high as 400 mbps. However the
new Fire Wire 800, also called the IEEE 1395b , has data transfer rates of up to 800
mbps. In the future the data exchange rates can go up to 1600 mbps and 3200+
mbps. A Fire Wire cable is very easy to use. It is a plug and play environment which
means that the wire can be used as soon as it is plugged in, no need for system
configuration. Using Fire Wire cable is as easy as plugging or unplugging a your
computers power cord. There are quite a few benefits of Fire Wire. Fire Wire has
faster data exchange rates (100 Mb/s) in comparison to USB 2.0(60 Mb/s). A Fire
Wire port can easily be found on most laptops and computers. However there are
som down sides to this. The data exchange rates are very slow in comparison to
newer, more widely available connections like USB 3.0 ( 625 Mb/s) or
Thunderbolt (1.25 Gb/s). The use of Fire Wire is becoming very limited, most new
computers don t even feature them anymore like Mac s ( even though Apple made
them). USB USB is the abbreviation for Universal
Cosmides And Tooby As A Psychological Mechanism
produces an expert in one arena of collaboration with the world. The basic logic of
this operation is specific through genetic programs. It is modified through natural
selection to unravel problems of gathering and hunting life besides ancestors in most
of evolutionary history. (Buller, D. J. 2006) However, the mind compromises of
hundreds or thousands of genetically specified modules that ancestors encountered
diversity array of adaptive problems, each adaptive problem domain needs its own
domain specific solution. No single domain general psychological mechanism could
successfully solve various adaptive problems. Thus, a psychological mechanism

J. 2006). This argument combines behavioural solution to problems such as deciding
a high quality mate, with psychological mechanisms produces behaviour. There is no
explanation assuming that same psychological mechanism cannot produce various
behaviours that solved distinct problems. For example, the domain general
mechanism of social learning, involving observations of role models through
imitations of the observed behaviour. Such as, a female employs social learning in
selecting an item. She observes her parents selecting an item, and she does the same.
If she switches problems domains to the selection of mate, the mechanism of social
learning would not guide her to discover a mate. Instead, it would guide her to look
and imitate mate selection behaviour of female role models; leading to the
achievement of mate selection criteria that are particular to the problem domain of
choosing a mate. The domain general mechanism of social learning will generate
behavioural solutions to each problem domain in which it operates. This illustrates
the domain general learning mechanism operates on domain specific inputs, creating
information specific to those inputs; in order to generate
Importance Of Entrepreneurship During The World
Countries...
A) The importance of entrepreneurship in 3rd world countries: One valuable lesson
I learned through this placement that also pertains very much so to international
development, is the importance of entrepreneurship in both the first and third
world. Entrepreneurship is not the first thing that is taught to the average
Canadian student when asked to decide what they want to do post graduating high
school. I however believe it should at least be taught, if only to provide our youth
with another option to look at after graduation, as a potential career path for them.
Entrepreneurship offers people a chance to come up with unimaginable solutions
to people s problems, and provides the only true form of job security in today s
turnover style of market. It also allows people to reach their maximum potential in
the workforce because people are willing to work harder, if they are working for
themselves and towards their personal goals and dreams. For my four month co op
placement I was in a full time entrepreneurial position. Working for myself was such
an amazing experience, as everything I achieved was towards my end goal, and the
personal developmentI experienced over the past four months was absolutely
astounding. I went from having an average amount of knowledge with regards to
personal finance, to having an extensive understanding of the financial industry. In
learning the skills, I now can continue to help individuals and families navigate the
industry and advise them on
African Americans And African American History
Since colonialism, blacks have been subjected to white standards of beauty. For
African Americans, gaining acceptance in society was once synonymous with
whitening one s appearance. Throughout African American history, black women
have styled their hair in order to avoid shame and mortification and attempt to
appear under American standards of beauty. For example, during slavery, slaves
were required to change their hair to resemble white beauty standards. Changes in
hairstyles varied between light skinned and dark skinned slaves due to their
working positions. In the 1970s, during the Black Power movement, idealisms of
black beauty changed and the afro was worn as an act of rebellion and a symbol of
black power. Despite the movement, relaxers were still ubiquitous in black barber
shops and salons. Not until recently has the use of relaxers dwindled and more
African Americans are deciding to wear their hair natural. While the current natural
hair movement may not be an act of rebellion, it does represent how African
Americans ideas about black beauty have changed. Where at once point blacks chose
to wear their hair in a certain manner for political reasons, or due to unconscious
attempts to style themselves after white American beauty standards, modern day
blacks are styling their hair for personal reasons. Today African Americans can find an
innumerable amount of resources for natural hair now that the movement is
flourishing. Naturalists can find support through online

Break Even Analysis
The cash breakeven point indicates the minimum amount of sales required to
contribute to a positive cash flow in the first operating year. In the case of the Lazy
Mower Project the cash breakeven point comes to 2500 units. This is calculated by
taking the fixed costs (including rent) and dividing by the contribution margin.
1,620,000/600=2700
The accounting breakeven point tells how many units the company must sell in year
1 to bring their operating income to zero. This takes into consideration the fixed
costs (rent included) plus depreciation. In the case of the Lazy Mower, 7263 units
would need to be sold to break even.
1,620,000+2,858,000/600=7463
The financial breakeven point considers how many units it would take in the first
year to bring the company s NVP to zero. To do this, fixed cost (rent included) must
be added to the operating cash flow and then divided by the contribution margin. In
this case, 30,000 units would need to be sold.

Visigoths
The Visigoths or West Goths were the first Germanic people also known as goths, that
had a major impact on European history. The Goths were originally from southern
Scandinavia and Baltic area. The term Visigoths originally came from the word
Ostrogoths which means East Goths. One group differs from the other because one
strayed away from the place of origin while the other stayed in the same area. The
Goths were hospitable to Roman ways of life, adapted to Roman luxuries, and
embraced the Arian form of Christianity. Much of whom were enlisted into the
Roman army, and even took offices of state in Constantinople itself. Thus, when the

was killed. The victorious Goths then threatened Constantinople . Theodosius I, who
succeeded Valens as emperor in the East, made peace with the Goths and
incorporated their army into the Roman forces. From that time on, the Visigoths
were an important influence in the Roman Empire. Goths who had established in
Moesia became producers and were known as Moeso Goths. The alteration of Goths
to a type of Christianity (Arianism) was due to Ulfilas who translated the Bible to
Goths .On the death of Theodosius in 395, the Visigoths renounced their allegiance
to Rome and chose Alaric I as their ruler. Alaric invaded Greece and then Italy, and
in 410 he captured and pillaged the city of Rome. In that same year he was succeeded
by Ataulf, who led the Visigoths across the Pyrenees mountain range into

Lo que son Los Yerbales por Rafael Barrett
`Lo que son los yerbales`, written by the Spanish writer, essayist, narrator and
journalist Rafael Barrett, denounces la esclavitud that took place in Paraguay
during the war in 1864 1870 under the form of a critical piece of writing against
the Paraguayan system. This log will highlight the different aspects of language in
which the text can be read and interpreted such as: cultural, political, rhetorical and
punctual literary event. Rafael Barrett`s essay is divided into 6 important chapters
where he reveals a series of conflicts and contradictions in the Paraguayan society
where he also shows the intimate relationship with the suffering of the slaves `el
dolor Paraguayo` as in the first line of the first chapter `La Esclavitud y el Estado`
he affirms: `Es preciso que sepa el mundo de una vez lo que pasa en los
yerbales`(p7). This statement, `testimonio` demonstrates that Rafael Barrett wants
his text to necessarily be reachable by the world so that they the Paraguayan
society find the truth of what is happening `en los yerbales` so that it can be used
as a modern example of anything that can conceive and execute the human
greediness; `Es preciso que cuando se quiera citar un ejemplo modern de todo lo
que puede concebir y ejecutar la codicia humana, no se hable solo de Congo, sino
del Paraguay`. (p7) Barrett himself is a contradictory figure in that, although he was
a European aristocrat and a member of the Paraguayan elite, he chose to fight for the
cause of the poor
Essay about The Abortion Debate
The Abortion Debate
There are all kinds of people in the world, and we all have different opinions. In this
report I am discussing abortion. You will read about the pros and cons of this subject.
Some people think that abortion is wrong; they think that abortion is the killing of
innocent children. Other people believe that the unborn child is not actually a human
until it takes its first breath of air.
Many people think that having an abortion is in a way, murder. Many of the people
that oppose abortion are in the minority. There are several anti abortion groups, one
organisation is called the Right to Life , the members of the Right to Life organisation
believe that a fetus is a ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In the book he tells of how he asked another doctor friend of his to video the
abortions he performed using the new ultrasound equipment that had just become
available and that he had just received. His friend worked at a clinic on the
weekends and performed about 40 abortions a day for cash. They sat down and
watched all of the ultra sounds the next day and were horrified as they saw the
babies arms, legs, fingers and toes, head and neck, and internal organs sucked out.
They watched as the skull was crushed in order to be removed. Up until the time of
ultra sound no one had ever seen inside the womb, and had no idea how fetus acted
and reacted.
There was one abortion that stuck in both of the doctors minds forever, and later
became the movie The Silent Cry . As they watched the fetus body parts being torn
off, this particular baby opened up his mouth and looked as if it was a crying and
attempted to move away from the instruments. Both of the doctors felt that the child
was reacting to the pain and looked as if he were crying, but since there is no air in
the womb, no air could be emitted therefore there was no sound. Neither doctor ever
performed another abortion. Dr. Nathanson was so affected by the video that he
became a

  • 1. Jrotc Essay Crafting an essay on the topic of JROTC (Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps) can present both challenges and opportunities for the writer. On one hand, the subject matter is specific and requires a nuanced understanding of the program, its goals, and its impact on individuals and communities. On the other hand, the richness of the topic allows for a deep exploration of themes such as leadership, discipline, patriotism, and the development of young cadets. The difficulty lies in striking a balance between providing comprehensive information about JROTC and infusing the essay with personal insights and reflections. It demands the ability to convey a genuine understanding of the program's significance while also expressing a unique perspective that captures the essence of the writer's experience or viewpoint. Moreover, writing a compelling JROTC essay involves conducting thorough research to gather relevant facts, figures, and anecdotes that support the key arguments. This can be time- consuming, especially for those unfamiliar with military education programs. Additionally, the essay must be structured coherently, with a clear introduction, body paragraphs that logically flow, and a conclusion that ties everything together. Finding the right tone is another challenge. The essay should be respectful and appreciative of the JROTC program while still allowing for critical analysis and personal expression. Striking this balance requires careful consideration of language and tone throughout the writing process. In conclusion, while composing a JROTC essay may pose certain challenges, it is ultimately a rewarding endeavor that allows the writer to delve into a subject of significance. With dedication, research, and a thoughtful approach, one can produce an essay that not only meets academic requirements but also resonates with readers. • 2. The Five Types Of Government In Ancient Greece Ancient Greece consisted of several hundred polies or city states. Many of them were villages or small towns, but there were two big and powerful Greek polies, Athens and Sparta. Athens was a cultural and economic powerhouse, and the birthplace of democracy. Sparta was an imperial city state, and had two kings (Brand, n.d.). (1) There were five types of f government in Ancient Greece: monarchy, aristocracy, oligarchy, tyranny and democracy. Monarchy Monarchy is undivided rule or absolute sovereignty by a single person (Merriam webster.com, n.d., 1). (2) In the Greek world monarchies were rare, and were distinguishable from a tyranny when the monarch ruled in interest of his people. The most monarchies were Macedonia and Epeiros, where the ruler shared power with assembly. Although Sparta also had a citizen assembly, and two kings, but they were not absolute monarchs. They had great power when they led Spartan army in the war, but in the peace, they were kept in check by Ephors who were elected by assembly. The kings were also members of the Gerousia and were admitted from a young age, so they must have had a significant advantage over the other members who couldn t join until they were 60 (Cartwright, 2013). (3) Aristocracy Aristocracy is government by those considered to be the best or most able people in the state (Dictionary.com, n.d., 3). (4) Aristocracy as Plato and Aristotle invented is a governance by the best few who were superior morally and

At the center, the infamous river of Styx flows from Oceanus, creating a boundary between the land of the living and the land of the dead. The Kokytos river branches southward off of Styx feeding into the marsh. On the other side of the marsh, the Acheron river ebbs and flows southeast. She forced her sob down and refused to cry out in agony. Hades was damned to this land just as much as she was, and there was no shock that he had returned. She just thought she had a few more days free of her husband, king, and tormentor. Not for the first time her anger for Jupiter burned in her heart, for surely he would have control over Pluto enough to force her release, but no the gods were powerless. Not for the first time, Proserpina wished she would have died slowly instead of eating those seeds prolonging her suffering. Mi lady, whispered the laureus. Proserpina grinned at her blade, as she bent to pick it up and place it back in its sheathe. If only she could do that to her husband, she would be free. Proserpina followed the spirit through the palace and went to the throne room at the heart of the palace. • 5. Business Writing Improving Business Writing Why is writing important in business? Writing is essential in any form of business. We use writing in all types of communication such as: email, facsimile, letter writing, etc. Writing skills are important to the business professional because it prepares the workplace for well written business communications. The three topics I will cover can serve as an outline for improving writing skills in businesses. The topics are principles of business writing, how to write an effective business letter, and how to improve business writing within the company. These topics will aid in examining and improving our company s employees writing skills. First, there are four principles of writing: Empathy, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Following the Attention Line is the Body. The body contains detailed information about the topic. The body includes the introductory paragraph, one or more body paragraphs, and a concluding paragraph. Finally, there is the closing. The closing is usually ended with a complementary closing and signature. A list of examples include: Sincerely, Cordially, Best regards, and Yours very truly. Remember to capitalize the first word in the complimentary closing and end it with a comma. After the closing, there is a copy line. When the copy line is used, other people know who will be receiving a copy. The copy line usually includes a symbol: c: for copy, pc: for photocopy, and bc: blind copy (used only to limit readers of other copies). The names of the recipients should follow these symbols listed in organizational rank (Writing@CSU: Writing Guide, 2004, p. 1). All of the components discussed above are effective ways to write an effective business letter. An effective business letter speaks to a specific reader. Therefore, the right type of business letter must reach the reader. The most common types of business letters are: 1) Acknowledgement Letters, 2) Adjustment Letters, 3) Complaint Letters, 4) Inquiry Letters, 5) Order Letters, and Response Letters. (Writing@CSU: Writing Guide, 2004 p. 1). These type letters helps guide the reader to understanding what the writer intended. Nothing can be more

  • 7. Teaching And Learning For Students Many school systems believe that the only effective way for students to learn is through direct instruction. This isn t the only way, but it is the most common way throughout America. Direct instruction is the easiest way for teachers to instruct to a whole group and students are used to this type of instruction. But that style of teaching isn t exactly the best way for students to learn and retain information. One of the most effective ways for students to learn is through differentiated instruction. Differentiated instruction is a framework for effective teaching that involves providing different students with different avenues to learn. This style of instruction allows for the curriculum to adapt to certain needs and interests of individual students. (Bravmann) Making this instruction one of the most effective styles of teaching. It also gives both the teachers and the students more of an opportunity to learn in different ways that will help them to be successful in the long run. Since this type of instruction involves a ton of work many teachers don t use it because they don t have the time but it is really worth the time, especially for the students who don t learn like everyone else when it comes to direct instruction. One of the best examples of differentiated instruction comes from The Ron Clark film which is about who is a man from North Carolina who moved to New York and had the chance to change the lives of students through differentiated instruction. At this parade, I would steal candy, go to the nearby park, and play tennis. At the parade, things were starting off very slow. It was very boring for me as a kid, so I had to try to entertain myself. One of the first things I tried doing at this parade was try to spider climb up the wall of a building. The roughness of the bricks I would try to grab would cut my small, fragile fingers and then the blood would start pouring out. I knew that if I was in the ocean, a shark would smell it from miles away and gobble me up as if I was a turtle. The boredom was eating me to death, but then I noticed that they were throwing candy at the crowd. I ran up to get some, so excited to put the delicious pieces of sugar into my mouth. After getting an absurd amount of candy, I saw my favorite type; a Hershey s chocolate bar. As I was running to get it, I saw a little kid was about to grab the delicious tantalizing chocolate bar(probably about 6 or 7 years old), I snatched it from his mitts. The infectivity of jealousy darkens the moral compass of everybody it touches causing the destruction of many lives. Jealousy refers to the thoughts and feelings of insecurity, fear, concern, and anxiety over the status of something of personal value; how Othellovalues Desdemona s fidelity. When jealousytakes root in a mind it causes them to act irrationally and act against what they usually would. Iagois a man blinded by envy and anger. • 14. Trifles- Battle of the Sexes Essay The struggle between the male and female gender has long seen its differences throughout our American history. Prior to 1848, women did not have a voice or a valued opinion; they were simply thought of as unseen and unintelligent. It took nearly 72 years before the 19th amendment to our Constitution was signed into law, granting women the right to vote (Infoplease). During the early part of the twentieth century, the duties and structures of women s lives would have predisposed them to approach a problem from a different angle than that of men and even today, despite the significant changes in women s lives and opportunities since mid century, women s responsibilities and concerns tend to remain somewhat distinct from men s (Holstein).... Almost every action of the farmwives in this play is designed to make Minnie s presence felt, something that had been long lost (Noe). The concept of the unseen woman continues when Mrs. Hale rescues the surviving jar of Mrs. Wright s cherry preserves, when both women gather clothes to take to jail and when Mrs. Hale begins to sit in the rocking chair; we feel as if that third woman is on stage (Noe). Mrs. Hale completes an action begun by Mrs. Wright when she takes out the sewing basket and finishes a badly sewn piece and later she finds the empty birdcage and silk wrapped dead canary. These actions enable us to envision Mrs. Wright working in her kitchen on the d ay of the murder and reconstruct the events that precipitated it (Noe). The setting functions metonymically, standing for the unseen woman, who, in turn, represents the unseen American women of her day, relegated to the domestic sphere and excluded from positions of power (Noe). The absence of the woman who is central to these spaces de familiarizes her; making her less hospitable to the characters that we do see (Noe). Mrs. Hale and Mrs. Peters reflect this feeling of discomfort with their environment by the slow and hesitating way that they move about and talk in Mrs. Wright s kitchen. Stage directions indicate that Mrs. Hale is disturbed now and looks
  • 15. Liesel Mueller s What The Dog Perhaps Hears Liesel Mueller s What the Dog Perhaps Hears is a poem about change. Mueller uses figurative language appealing to a person s sense of hearing. With this imagery, Mueller conveys that change is silent and often goes by unnoticed. The narrator asks the dog if he can hear the asparagus heaving headfirst or the roots mining the earth. Because dogs have a more acute sense of hearing than humans do, the narrator is, in a way, asking if perhaps the dog can hear the change oncoming, because humans cannot. This is especially prominent in the last stanza, which states that For us there was no birth cry...and we heard nothing when the world changed. With other images such as the continuous whir because the child in the house keeps growing and the sound of spiders breathing, the narrator sets a tranquil scene where silence is not out of the ordinary. Many people fail to realize that Alexander has had a definite affect on us today, although not as great as he would have had on people of the past. In most parts the world today, Alexander The Great is considered a legend; however, in some places, Alexander is considered a god. One of the most notable people in history, Alexander has reached an iconic status in our world today. He possibly may have even been referred to in the Quran (Surah 18:89 98). There are still many stories told about him including folktales, and movies. In modern Iran, Alexander is still known as an evil king who nearly destroyed the ancient Persian culture and religion. • 20. Persuasive Essay On Climate Change Burdens Climate change is a global challenge and will require global cooperation on how to share the burdens of tackling this problem. Overwhelming evidence confirms that anthropogenic climate change is, and will, have catastrophic consequences on humanity and the planet humanity depends upon. Therefore rapid action is required. Climate changeburdens consist of mitigation, adaptation and compensation, and there needs to be agreement among states on how to fairly share these burdens. If burdens are distributed based on fair and just principles, then states and individuals will be more likely to comply with their duties. Consequently, normative theorising is necessary to solve the burden sharing problem, which is a major obstacle to a global climate change response. One such principle is if you broke it, you should fix it , which can be approximated as the historical polluter pays principle. The question of whether there is a better alternative to this implies questioning if there is a more fair and just alternative burden sharing principle. Therefore, a method of determining global justice ought to be used to establish which principle is the most just response to allocating climate change burdens. This essay will evaluate the polluter pays principle using an expanded Rawlsian method to determine which principle would be selected behind a global veil of ignorance, based on the argument that country of birth is morally arbitrary and represents a global undeserved inequality. VMB was willing to give The Commerce authorization of the use of MasterCard and Visa cards at the tavern. The rule of setting the rate was shown as follows: Credit card sales ($)| Rate| Greater than 5000,000| 2%| Between 200,000 and 5000,000| 3%| Less than 200,000| 4%| Analysis of the credit card usage Hamlet provided a chart with credit card usage information of other restaurants to Nilson, which could be used to estimate the rate of The Commerce after one year. Due to Nilson was familiar with all the restaurants on the list, there were eight restaurants could be used for reference.

  • 26. The Era Of Homer By Homer The Era of Homer Although we cannot be sure of when Homer lived, we know he played a significant role in the formation of the literature of ancient Greece. Researchers believe that he probably lived somewhere around 8th century BC and was possibly one of the first literate authors. Other theories suggest that he only spoke his epics and they were put into writing by others. Homer s stories show us the first glimpse of documented information of Greek myth and religion. Most important was the creation of Homer s writing style named the Homeric epic. He was the first author to write epics and his writing style held strongly as the first major literature of its type in western civilization. Homer is considered a groundbreaking author of his time period because of his reoccurring themes and characteristics, his creation of the epic poem, and his significance to literature. The Homeric epic was a groundbreaking literary style for its time. Because Homer lived so long ago, we are not sure if it truly was the first of its kind, but it was the first recorded epic and it led the way for many authors after Hector. Many of his works are written to form an epic cycle. The repetition of entire sentences was also a style unique to Homer s work. It brought emphasis and unity to these sections of the stories. Another literary example he used was hexameter verse. This produced a swift slowing movement to the stories and gave a form of structure to the verse showing Homer s true

Our facilitators are local, our audience is local. We have ways and means to deliver the training in person, face to face. There are other times where we deliver training virtually. SO we may have a facilitator in Maramack delivering to a class of say 5, but there are other associates around the country sitting in classrooms or conference rooms that may have 3 5 or 10 people. It is one facilitator delivering locally, in person, but virtually across the country. That training through webinar technology? Yes, exactly. I would say the third leg would be just self
  • 42. Main Causes Of The Great Depression The peak of the U.S. Stock Market in August 1929, which occurred due to an increase in stock speculation, overshadowed the spiral towards the Great Depression. The main causes of the Great Depression included the following: furlough of employees due to decrease in production, procreation of debt, and a mass of bank loans, that were used to purchase stocks. Although the causes of the Great Depression seem pertinent to the Great Crash, they do not wholly encompass the event. In actuality, the Great Crash began on October 18, which is when the stock prices began to decline. Stockholders noticed the downturn, and many sold off stocks on October 24, Black Thursday. In turn, investors and bankers bought a portion of the sold stocks to attempt stabilization
  • 43. How Did Ducati Become 2nd Most Profitable Motorcycle Maker... 2. How did Ducati become the second most profitable motorcycle maker in the world despite its small scale? Platform Approach: Ducati divided the bike into a small number of component and sub component assemblies. A supplier was responsible for managing and delivering the component. The platform approach minimizes detailed, multi step assembly processes. Consequently, fewer Ducati man hours are needed to assemble a motorcycle. The assembly expertise of each component is concentrated at the supplier so that Ducati assemblers can apply higher value labor on the overall bike assembly. High Degree of Component Outsourcing: As of 2001, Ducati outsourced 87% of its components to suppliers. The company planned to increase that rate to 90%. As ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This too protects Ducati from Japanese substitutions. Ducati has developed and managed their value chain very well. This contributes substantially to their strong position. I ve already discussed Ducati s effective management of Inbound Logistics and Operations. Ducati s Outbound Logistics approach is oriented around brand management in each of its markets. This is accomplished through dedicated, single franchise dealerships instead of multi franchise dealerships. This decision means that Ducati seeks a high value customer experience with lower volumes in lieu of a mass market approach. This is a strategy that is consistent with being a niche player; it makes sense for the Japanese firms to have multi franchise dealerships since they are close substitutes of each other. Marketing and Sales represents Ducati s most significant growth opportunities because their brand management strategy advances the Ducati name into the consciousness of their markets. In addition to motorcycles, Ducati extends the brand by selling accessories and apparel. For sure, Ducati owners will buy these products but perhaps more importantly, the aspirational aspect of the brand drives people to buy Ducati branded items even if they don t own the bike. This behavior is seen with the Harley Davidson brand: many people wear H D clothing and
  • 44. Fire Wire Advantages And Disadvantages Fire Wire is a standard high performance cable, used to connect multiple devices together or to a computer. Fire Wire is also capable of very high speed communications and quick real time data transfer. It is also called the IEEE 1394 . The number of pins on a Fire Wire cable can vary, it can either have 4,6 or 9 pins. The maximum voltage it can carry is 30 volts. The data exchange rates on a standard Fire Wire 400, also called the IEEE 1394a , can go as high as 400 mbps. However the new Fire Wire 800, also called the IEEE 1395b , has data transfer rates of up to 800 mbps. In the future the data exchange rates can go up to 1600 mbps and 3200+ mbps. A Fire Wire cable is very easy to use. It is a plug and play environment which means that the wire can be used as soon as it is plugged in, no need for system configuration. Using Fire Wire cable is as easy as plugging or unplugging a your computers power cord. There are quite a few benefits of Fire Wire. Fire Wire has faster data exchange rates (100 Mb/s) in comparison to USB 2.0(60 Mb/s). A Fire Wire port can easily be found on most laptops and computers. However there are som down sides to this. The data exchange rates are very slow in comparison to newer, more widely available connections like USB 3.0 ( 625 Mb/s) or Thunderbolt (1.25 Gb/s). The use of Fire Wire is becoming very limited, most new computers don t even feature them anymore like Mac s ( even though Apple made them). USB USB is the abbreviation for Universal

This argument combines behavioural solution to problems such as deciding a high quality mate, with psychological mechanisms produces behaviour. There is no explanation assuming that same psychological mechanism cannot produce various behaviours that solved distinct problems. Such as, a female employs social learning in selecting an item. She observes her parents selecting an item, and she does the same. If she switches problems domains to the selection of mate, the mechanism of social learning would not guide her to discover a mate. Instead, it would guide her to look and imitate mate selection behaviour of female role models; leading to the achievement of mate selection criteria that are particular to the problem domain of choosing a mate. The domain general mechanism of social learning will generate behavioural solutions to each problem domain in which it operates. This illustrates the domain general learning mechanism operates on domain specific inputs, creating information specific to those inputs; in order to generate
  • 46. Importance Of Entrepreneurship During The World Countries... A) The importance of entrepreneurship in 3rd world countries: One valuable lesson I learned through this placement that also pertains very much so to international development, is the importance of entrepreneurship in both the first and third world. Entrepreneurship is not the first thing that is taught to the average Canadian student when asked to decide what they want to do post graduating high school. I however believe it should at least be taught, if only to provide our youth with another option to look at after graduation, as a potential career path for them. Entrepreneurship offers people a chance to come up with unimaginable solutions to people s problems, and provides the only true form of job security in today s turnover style of market. It also allows people to reach their maximum potential in the workforce because people are willing to work harder, if they are working for themselves and towards their personal goals and dreams. For my four month co op placement I was in a full time entrepreneurial position. Working for myself was such an amazing experience, as everything I achieved was towards my end goal, and the personal developmentI experienced over the past four months was absolutely astounding. I went from having an average amount of knowledge with regards to personal finance, to having an extensive understanding of the financial industry. In learning the skills, I now can continue to help individuals and families navigate the industry and advise them on
  • 47. African Americans And African American History Since colonialism, blacks have been subjected to white standards of beauty. For African Americans, gaining acceptance in society was once synonymous with whitening one s appearance. Throughout African American history, black women have styled their hair in order to avoid shame and mortification and attempt to appear under American standards of beauty. For example, during slavery, slaves were required to change their hair to resemble white beauty standards. Changes in hairstyles varied between light skinned and dark skinned slaves due to their working positions. In the 1970s, during the Black Power movement, idealisms of black beauty changed and the afro was worn as an act of rebellion and a symbol of black power. Despite the movement, relaxers were still ubiquitous in black barber shops and salons. Not until recently has the use of relaxers dwindled and more African Americans are deciding to wear their hair natural. While the current natural hair movement may not be an act of rebellion, it does represent how African Americans ideas about black beauty have changed. Where at once point blacks chose to wear their hair in a certain manner for political reasons, or due to unconscious attempts to style themselves after white American beauty standards, modern day blacks are styling their hair for personal reasons. Today African Americans can find an innumerable amount of resources for natural hair now that the movement is flourishing. Naturalists can find support through online

In the case of the Lazy Mower Project the cash breakeven point comes to 2500 units. This is calculated by taking the fixed costs (including rent) and dividing by the contribution margin. 1,620,000/600=2700 The accounting breakeven point tells how many units the company must sell in year 1 to bring their operating income to zero. This takes into consideration the fixed costs (rent included) plus depreciation. Lo que son Los Yerbales por Rafael Barrett `Lo que son los yerbales`, written by the Spanish writer, essayist, narrator and journalist Rafael Barrett, denounces la esclavitud that took place in Paraguay during the war in 1864 1870 under the form of a critical piece of writing against the Paraguayan system. This log will highlight the different aspects of language in which the text can be read and interpreted such as: cultural, political, rhetorical and punctual literary event. Rafael Barrett`s essay is divided into 6 important chapters where he reveals a series of conflicts and contradictions in the Paraguayan society where he also shows the intimate relationship with the suffering of the slaves `el dolor Paraguayo` as in the first line of the first chapter `La Esclavitud y el Estado` he affirms: `Es preciso que sepa el mundo de una vez lo que pasa en los yerbales`(p7). This statement, `testimonio` demonstrates that Rafael Barrett wants his text to necessarily be reachable by the world so that they the Paraguayan society find the truth of what is happening `en los yerbales` so that it can be used as a modern example of anything that can conceive and execute the human greediness; `Es preciso que cuando se quiera citar un ejemplo modern de todo lo que puede concebir y ejecutar la codicia humana, no se hable solo de Congo, sino del Paraguay`. (p7) Barrett himself is a contradictory figure in that, although he was a European aristocrat and a member of the Paraguayan elite, he chose to fight for the cause of the poor

You will read about the pros and cons of this subject. Some people think that abortion is wrong; they think that abortion is the killing of innocent children. Other people believe that the unborn child is not actually a human until it takes its first breath of air. Many people think that having an abortion is in a way, murder. Many of the people that oppose abortion are in the minority. In the book he tells of how he asked another doctor friend of his to video the abortions he performed using the new ultrasound equipment that had just become available and that he had just received. His friend worked at a clinic on the weekends and performed about 40 abortions a day for cash. They sat down and watched all of the ultra sounds the next day and were horrified as they saw the babies arms, legs, fingers and toes, head and neck, and internal organs sucked out. They watched as the skull was crushed in order to be removed. Up until the time of ultra sound no one had ever seen inside the womb, and had no idea how fetus acted and reacted. There was one abortion that stuck in both of the doctors minds forever, and later became the movie The Silent Cry . As they watched the fetus body parts being torn off, this particular baby opened up his mouth and looked as if it was a crying and attempted to move away from the instruments. Both of the doctors felt that the child was reacting to the pain and looked as if he were crying, but since there is no air in the womb, no air could be emitted therefore there was no sound. Neither doctor ever performed another abortion. Dr. Nathanson was so affected by the video that he became a
