OCD: Open Curation of Data English___________________________________ Etymology Curate + ion Noun Curation ( plural curations) The act of curating, of organising and maintaining a collection (databases) The manual updating of information is a database

Conversations and exchanges of information – data- are happening across the online world. Mainstream media is only a part of that. Journalists who can use data, and present it in relevant, accessible, engaging packages, will find an involved and participatory audience for their work. The culture shift – from journalist-as-broadcaster to participator – is still happening in MSM.
