Finnish Teachers as Users and Creators of Learning Environments that Promote ...Minna Riikka Järvinen
Finnish teachers occasionally create learning environments that develop entrepreneurial skills. While teachers are flexible in modifying plans, the study found that learning environments outside of school are only visited once or twice a semester, and involving learners in the planning process is uncommon. Developing skills like responsibility, goal-orientation, and learning from mistakes only occurs on a weekly basis. Overall, schools and teachers tend to be school-centered with little creativity or future orientation. However, teachers with more confidence in their entrepreneurship skills showed better results. The researchers conclude that teachers would benefit from more in-service training focused on new trends to better develop students' entrepreneurial skills.
Paper 3 energy efficient bee routing algorithm in wireless mobileSpandan Spandy
This document describes an energy efficient bee routing algorithm for wireless mobile networks. It discusses how bee colony optimization can inspire an energy-efficient routing protocol. The key points are:
1) The algorithm uses two agent types - scouts to discover paths and foragers to evaluate paths based on predicted energy consumption and delay.
2) It aims to find the optimal path between source and destination that consumes the least amount of energy overall.
3) The algorithm calculates energy consumption at each node and for the entire path to determine the "goodness ratio" and select the best path.
4) The algorithm was simulated in NS2 and results showed it improves metrics like routing overhead, delivery ratio, and energy

They strive to make the tasks of both models and clients much easier through their aggressive yet professional operations. As a recognizable brand name, MTD has the connections and experience to help models unlock their true potential and become the star they wish to be without taking advantage of aspiring models. They understand the challenges new models face and ensure models are encouraged and nurtured before taking on contracts.
Energy consumption mitigation routing protocols for large wsn'sSpandan Spandy
The document summarizes several routing protocols for large-scale wireless sensor networks that aim to mitigate energy consumption. It discusses protocols such as DGMA, DMSTRP, HGMR, and JCOCR. DGMA uses dynamic clustering based on event severity and a mobile agent to collect sensor data. DMSTRP connects nodes within clusters and between clusters using minimum spanning trees instead of clusters. HGMR achieves energy efficiency and scalability through hierarchical decomposition and local multicasting. JCOCR studies joint optimal clustering and cooperative routing where neighboring nodes dynamically form coalitions to cooperatively transmit packets between hops.

This document outlines a framework for media education in formal education from grades 1-9 (ages 7-16). It identifies key skills and competences that students should develop at each grade level, including: creative and aesthetic skills; communication skills; critical interpretation skills; and safety skills related to media use. The skills progress from basic use and understanding of media in early grades to more advanced skills like ethical reflection, critical analysis, and civic participation by late middle school/early high school grades. The overall goal is to equip students with abilities to engage with, understand, question, and safely participate in today's media landscape.

Energy efficient routing in wireless sensor networksSpandan Spandy
The document summarizes several energy efficient multicast routing protocols for wireless sensor networks. It begins with an introduction to wireless sensor networks and routing challenges. It then summarizes the following protocols: MAODV, TEEN, APTEEN, SPEED, MMSPEED, RPAR, and LEACH. For each protocol, it provides a brief overview of the protocol's design, objectives, components, and how it aims to improve energy efficiency in wireless sensor network routing. The document concludes that providing energy-efficient multicast routing is important for wireless sensor network applications and that the protocols presented aim to achieve lower energy requirements through approaches like clustering, adaptive thresholding, and congestion control.

Future Education Needs Paradigm Change: Artficial Intelligence and Future Co...Minna Riikka Järvinen
1) The document discusses how artificial intelligence and future technologies will change the nature of work and the skills needed for future jobs. Routine jobs will be automated, increasing demand for highly skilled, creative and adaptive workers.
2) It argues that education must shift from teaching knowledge to developing skills like problem solving, collaboration, creativity and design thinking to prepare students. Learning will become more emergent and occur across various contexts with outcomes depending more on individual learners.
3) Finland's national curriculum recognizes these needs, focusing on skills for the future like critical thinking, experimentation and teamwork. The author provides examples of their education programs that enhance skills through challenges, competitions and hands-on learning methods.

Transportable entrepreneurial learning environment? In an ocean container?Minna Riikka Järvinen
The document describes a workshop held in Cork, Ireland on developing an entrepreneurial learning environment inside an ocean container. Participants were divided into working groups to discuss three questions: important entrepreneurial competencies, pedagogical methods, and evaluation of outcomes. Most groups agreed that interaction, teamwork, and communication skills were important, and that action-based experiments, teamwork, and learning by doing were suitable methods. Groups felt reflection on experience and logs was a good way to evaluate outcomes. The workshop facilitator noted that while one group worked as advised, others needed more or less time than planned or worked on just one question. Diverse groups may need more flexibility in the method.

15. • Management research has focused on the leadership
attributes of an individual. Leading and following in the
traditional corporate sense have seen the leader
making people follow him through motivation and
rewards. The leader also decided who the followers
should be.
• Leading and following when seen as a relationship, not
as attributes of individuals, have a very different
dynamic. Leading in this new sense is not position-
based, but recognition-based. People, the
followers, also decide. The leader is someone people
trust to be at the forefront in an area, which is
temporally meaningful for them. Esko Kilpi
16. • Another huge difference from traditional
management is that because of the diversity
of contexts people link to, there can never be
just one boss. Thus, an individual always has
many “leaders” that she follows. You might
even claim that from the point of view taken
here, it is highly problematic if a person only
has one leader. It would mean attention
blindness as a default state.
