Job Summary:
Accomplishes business development activities by researching and developing marketing opportunities.
Manages sales of the company’s products and services within a proposed area (province or country). Ensures
consistent and profitable growth in sales revenue through positive planning, implementing sales plans;
managing staff.
Job Duties:
Manage the receipt and handling of all sales enquiries:
 Receive and co-ordinate all sales enquiries in line with the company’s sales process
 Monitor the status of all live enquiries.
 Follow up sales activities with clients & potential clients.
 Chase and analyses the reasons for failure to turn an enquiry into a new order.
 Monitor company sales performance.
The preparation of quotes:
 Capture all necessary information for quotes.
 Chase outstanding quotes to agreed time.
 Check all potential of new clients for completion of a quote.
Create and implement a Marketing strategy:
 Create a marketing strategy for the company to be approved by the directors.
 Update the marketing plan on a quarterly basis.
 Identify potential areas for marketing opportunities locally, nationally and internationally.
Produce appropriate marketing collateral as required:
 Produce and organize the company’s marketing collateral, for example; leaflets, banners, flyers,
brochures etc.
 Maintain and manage the development of the company’s various websites.
 Manage PR campaigns.
Accomplishes marketing and sales objectives:
 By planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating advertising, merchandising, and trade
promotion programs.
 Developing field sales action plans.
Identifies marketing opportunities:
 Identifying consumer requirements.
 Defining market, competitor's share, and competitor's strengths and weaknesses.
 Forecasting projected business.
 Establishing targeted market share.

2. Job Environment:
 Primarily in an office setting.
 Coordinating in production of a wide range of marketing communications.
 Set up a sales and marketing plan and budgets with the Operations & General Managers
Job Specifications:
 Attend training courses, exhibitions & shows as and when required.
 Knowledge of financial Planning and Strategy.
 Ability to positioning, managing people, managing land, sales planning, competitive analysis.
 Understanding the customer, product development, client relationships, marketing concepts.

Minimum Qualification:
Graduate with other short courses. Applicant with experience in sales and marketing management at
professional level will be given priority.
