Happy New Year!!!! We made it
through the holidays, what a blast
it was. My sincere thanks to
Centenary United Methodist
Church for another amazing
Christmas dinner for the HCCC
Christmas party; I do believe
everyone had a great time. It was
wonderful to see Merle and Sharon
Myers at the party, you guys
looked terrific.
Our first annual (and hopefully more) Winter Angel Expo is just around the
corner, January 17th
-18th
, it has been quite a journey to get to this point. This has
truly been a club effort is getting this to come together, and I can’t wait. There
will be something for all to see and be a part of. If you are not going to be able to
bring your vehicle, try and come out to see the happenings, admission is only $5
per person. Hope to see you there.
This will only be the beginning of the exciting things that will be happening with
the HCCC this year, Theresa is currently getting the Fun Run schedule together,
and plans will be made soon for the trip to Victory Junction to deliver another
group of those gorgeous little bears. Certainly can’t wait for that, this camp is an
amazing place.
For up to date happenings, be sure and check the website, Facebook page and
your email. If you would like to receive email updates or messages, just let me

I would like welcome the year 2015, (the years sure go by fast.) I hope everyone
had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and that Santa brought what was
needed to brighten up your lives as well as your old autos. Our car club had
another great year. Last spring we set some mighty high goals for 2014. Thanks to
the help of our members we exceeded those goals, helped a lot of folks in need,
and made Christmas brighter for well over 100 children in the Angel Tree’s ( toy’s
for tot’s) program. I want to thank each and every one for all their hard work in
making this possible. As I have said many times great team work and club
participation keeps this club strong.
As we go forward into this New Year, I am asking every member to continue your
support with the weekly things that need to be done. Take time to help with the
Cruise-ins attend our meetings, volunteer to help on a committee, pass out flyers
or make phone calls. The more participation we have from our members the
stronger our club becomes. I want to give special thanks to our Winter Angel
Expo committee for all the hard work that has been put into making this car show
successful. Many hours have been spent, and as of this writing the show look’s to
be a winner. Two weeks before the show and we have 60 pre-registries. We have
had more club members getting involved for this show than anytime I can
remember. Even though a lot of hard work was done this past year, at our Cruise-
ins, Fun runs, Picnics, and other outings we had a lot of Fun just getting together
enjoying good fellowship, friendship and our hobby the old cars & trucks.
“How lucky we are “. Let’s make 2015 the best year yet;
In closing I want to remind everyone to keep our members and their families that
are sick or hurting in your prayers.
Don’t forget our regular monthly meeting the 15th
of Jan. at Shoney’s
Eat at 6:00 --- Meet at 7:00 Hope to see you there, Don

Greetings HCCC!
Hope everyone had a joyful and a blessed Christmas Holiday! Just as fast in
coming, the season has gone; but not the meaning!
I want to thank all that came and enjoyed the HCCC Christmas party. The
food was outstanding as usual and the social time was grand. It was wonder-
ful to have Sharon and Merle Myers at this event. Thanks to the church,
Theresa and all that worked so hard to put this on.
Our Winter Angel Expo is right in front of us. We have over 55 entries as of
this writing, making it the largest pre-registered event we have ever had!
Hopefully this is a sign of great things. Thanks HCCC for the large number
of volunteers that has worked hard in making this show happen. This has
been a club project thru and thru. We will still accept volunteers and if you
can’t work, attend and bring someone with you as the gate receipts are a
large part of our success. Displays, vendors, show vehicles, fellowship and a
model car show, all for $5 per person!
Our future meetings will focus on the upcoming year, budgets, Fun Runs,
charities, etc. Please plan on attending on the third Thursday of the month,
need everyone to voice their opinion and do all we can to make the upcom-
ing season better. Victory Junction and Fun Runs, I know are on the agenda.
Please remember our sick, injured and troubled members, families and
friends in our prayers.
Won’t be long till we cruz again.
Happy cruzing!!
Butch
