This document summarizes the vision, achievements, innovations, problems faced, leveraging of funds, and further scope of an irrigation project in Purulia, West Bengal between 2008-2012. The vision was to graduate 10,000 families out of poverty through year-long food sources and income. By 2012, the project had benefited 1,243 families, irrigated 725 acres in kharif season and 325 acres in rabi season. Total investment was 44.98 lakhs rupees yielding a 38% return in the first year. Innovations included using small water bodies and pumps to expand irrigation. Problems involved equitable water distribution.
