Challenges faced during Implementation
• In the rocky layer it is almost impossible to maintain 3ft
  depth of pipe lying. Blasting of rocky layer was done to lay
  the pipes.


• For the construction of the intake structure, all the
  materials like sand, chips, cement and rods are manually
  transported to the construction site from the bottom of the
  hill which is very labour intensive.

• Demand from nearby Villages. But these villages are
  almost inaccessible and professionals cannot go to these
  villages frequently for crop planning and capacity building.


• Naxalites are also a threat for implementing such schemes
