Taloona Pipeline.
Work Scope – The SGPCF will consist of; Two Gas Compression Trains –Each of the Gas Compression Trains will comprise the
following components: Inlet filter coalescers. Gas Turbine Driven Compressors a Taurus 60 Turbine and C33 compressor.
Compressor after coolers. Compressor lube oil coolers. Dry gas seal system. Cold vent. Compressor Buildings. Metering and
Flow Control and a Seal gas conditioning system.

seam gas (CSG) from the central Queensland area to a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) facility, located on Curtis Island in the Port
of Gladstone. Origin will construct and operate the upstream facilities

Bridging Water Treatment Plant at the General Utilities Area (The existing facility is to be relocated from Town Point to the

A new Tails Management Facility to allow the client Urenco to deconvert the depleted uranium hexafluoride, known as Tails, back
to the naturally occurring form of uranium oxide. Consisting of 11 new builds.
Work Scope: The construction of a new 11kv infrastructure for the site and the full C, E & I Installation within each of the process
buildings, including building services, radiological protection, gas protection, access control, fire detections and CCTV.
• Reviewing Design drawings, related vendor drawings and installation specifications and instructions. Preparation of
material purchase requisitions including estimating quantities and material takeoffs. Prepare projections and schedules
for workforce, material and equipment requirements. Procurement of materials for the enabling works contract of the
Office and work shop refurbishment consisting of lighting / small power / Fire alarms / Data Equipment and Initially due to
start 4th Quarter 2010. Prepare cost estimates and review project design and engineering and surveying cable design
requirements for the main build consisting of 11 new building and storage facilities scheduled to start 2nd Quarter 2011.
Due to a major redesign of the Tails Management Facility, this project was placed under a
minimum 6 month construction hold.
The Installation of a new Hydrotreater Plant to reduce the sulphur, nitrogen and aromatic hydrocarbons to acceptable levels to
allow subsequent processing of the gas oil in a conventional refinery catalytic cracker or hydrocracker.
Work Scope: To provide the full electrical and instrument package required. Including transformer substation equipment and
Analyzer House for both OSBL & ISBL work scope.
• This new processing plant was built on a live refinery and consisted of extremely complex cabling installation in and
around the process plant. It was a heavily interfaced dependent project which required significant detailed planning
design input and extensive coordination with other contractors working on site and safety planning. .
• Initially engaged as the Project engineer responsible for the installation and termination of all HV / Power / Control /
Instrument cables (10585 cables measuring approx 400000 meters) Administrating the following contractor workforce;
contractor cable crew, contracted HV jointers and contracted underground earthing operatives.
• Design tray work and cable routes, co-ordinate with other trades for underground cable routing and installation and
prepare transit drawings
• Planned and co-ordinate installation works of transformers, transformer install and build, HV cable terminations and test.
11KV and 415KV switchboard installation, DCS panel installation and cable installation.
• Monitoring activities of all contractors to ensure compliance with drawings and specification.
• I worked to develop the operational objectives for the project. Prepare the specification of requirements and develop a
detailed schedule of works. Identify perceived risks and evaluate options for their control.
• Interpret design engineering drawings and prepare construction work packs for the use of supervisors including
preparing ‘as built’ drawings
• Monitor installation of materials and equipment to assure conformance with drawings and specification.
• Complying with regulatory and client requirements I co-ordinated, monitored and controlled the project schedules to
ensure the quality of the implementation of the project and to achieve target commissioning / completion dates within
budget objectives
• I am very proud to say that during my time as construction manager we completed the project with a zero harm policy,
initiated several safety training courses and with a work force which peaked at 18 supervisors and 220 operatives we
had no reportable accidents on site.

Work Scope: Supply and installation of electrical distribution, instrumentation and control systems, lighting and small power, fire
and gas detection and alarms, trace heating, earthing and all containment.
• Responsible for the Cabling installation of some 8000 cables approx 600,000 meters for Fire & Gas, Instrumentation,
Control and Power Systems.
• Directly managing a diverse workforce of contractors, & direct hire electricians, apprentices and laborers to install
bracket supports and cable containment, route and install cables and gland, terminate and test all cables.
• I also coordinated the H.A Inspectors assigned.
Ines Chlor Boiler Plant.
Work Scope: Includes the installation of electrical switchgear & equipment and installation of instrumentation and electrical
systems associated with three boiler units and a water treatment plant. Much of the work undertaken was in a live chemical
operational environment and required hazardous area equipment installation.
• Directly responsible for contracted operatives to install, test and gland HV cables. Direct hire electricians to install cable
containment, gland and terminate LV and instrument cables and a further testing and inspecting squad for completions.
New Reformer and Heat Exchanger.
Work Scope: Includes the installation of all control and instrumentation systems, the entire electrical system installation (including
Substation) and the system commissioning and energisation. The control system included over 750 loops. Additional works
included the strip down and reinstallation of instrumentation systems on two air compressors.

    Stevie Nimmo A newTails Management Facility to allow the client Urenco to deconvert the depleted uranium hexafluoride, known as Tails, back to the naturally occurring form of uranium oxide. Consisting of 11 new builds. Work Scope: The construction of a new 11kv infrastructure for the site and the full C, E & I Installation within each of the process buildings, including building services, radiological protection, gas protection, access control, fire detections and CCTV. • Reviewing Design drawings, related vendor drawings and installation specifications and instructions. Preparation of material purchase requisitions including estimating quantities and material takeoffs. Prepare projections and schedules for workforce, material and equipment requirements. Procurement of materials for the enabling works contract of the Office and work shop refurbishment consisting of lighting / small power / Fire alarms / Data Equipment and Initially due to start 4th Quarter 2010. Prepare cost estimates and review project design and engineering and surveying cable design requirements for the main build consisting of 11 new building and storage facilities scheduled to start 2nd Quarter 2011. Due to a major redesign of the Tails Management Facility, this project was placed under a minimum 6 month construction hold. The Installation of a new Hydrotreater Plant to reduce the sulphur, nitrogen and aromatic hydrocarbons to acceptable levels to allow subsequent processing of the gas oil in a conventional refinery catalytic cracker or hydrocracker. Work Scope: To provide the full electrical and instrument package required. Including transformer substation equipment and Analyzer House for both OSBL & ISBL work scope. • This new processing plant was built on a live refinery and consisted of extremely complex cabling installation in and around the process plant. It was a heavily interfaced dependent project which required significant detailed planning design input and extensive coordination with other contractors working on site and safety planning. . • Initially engaged as the Project engineer responsible for the installation and termination of all HV / Power / Control / Instrument cables (10585 cables measuring approx 400000 meters) Administrating the following contractor workforce; contractor cable crew, contracted HV jointers and contracted underground earthing operatives. • Design tray work and cable routes, co-ordinate with other trades for underground cable routing and installation and prepare transit drawings • Planned and co-ordinate installation works of transformers, transformer install and build, HV cable terminations and test. 11KV and 415KV switchboard installation, DCS panel installation and cable installation. • Monitoring activities of all contractors to ensure compliance with drawings and specification. • I worked to develop the operational objectives for the project. Prepare the specification of requirements and develop a detailed schedule of works. Identify perceived risks and evaluate options for their control. • Interpret design engineering drawings and prepare construction work packs for the use of supervisors including preparing ‘as built’ drawings • Monitor installation of materials and equipment to assure conformance with drawings and specification. • Complying with regulatory and client requirements I co-ordinated, monitored and controlled the project schedules to ensure the quality of the implementation of the project and to achieve target commissioning / completion dates within budget objectives • I am very proud to say that during my time as construction manager we completed the project with a zero harm policy, initiated several safety training courses and with a work force which peaked at 18 supervisors and 220 operatives we had no reportable accidents on site. With the capacity to receive & unload up to 217,000 cubic meter capacity carriers in approximately 24 hours and a maximum gas send out rate to the NTS of 1,200,000 standard cubic metres per hour Work Scope: Supply and installation of electrical distribution, instrumentation and control systems, lighting and small power, fire and gas detection and alarms, trace heating, earthing and all containment. • Responsible for the Cabling installation of some 8000 cables approx 600,000 meters for Fire & Gas, Instrumentation, Control and Power Systems. • Directly managing a diverse workforce of contractors, & direct hire electricians, apprentices and laborers to install bracket supports and cable containment, route and install cables and gland, terminate and test all cables. • I also coordinated the H.A Inspectors assigned. Ines Chlor Boiler Plant. Work Scope: Includes the installation of electrical switchgear & equipment and installation of instrumentation and electrical systems associated with three boiler units and a water treatment plant. Much of the work undertaken was in a live chemical operational environment and required hazardous area equipment installation. • Directly responsible for contracted operatives to install, test and gland HV cables. Direct hire electricians to install cable containment, gland and terminate LV and instrument cables and a further testing and inspecting squad for completions. New Reformer and Heat Exchanger. Work Scope: Includes the installation of all control and instrumentation systems, the entire electrical system installation (including Substation) and the system commissioning and energisation.
