During the research stage of my task, the main new media technologies that I used were that
of the internet, and the tools that helped me complete an in-depth study in to both the topic of
short film, as well as the genre of my film. The majority of my research was featured around
three main websites which are Google, Wikipedia and YouTube.

Google and Wikipedia were the main websites that I used to conduct the research in terms of
conventions and genre. This helped me create a picture in my head of what I needed to include
in my film and what I can put on to my blog to help me enhance my film.

I used YouTube to help me study themes and conventions of existing short films, by analysing
several pieces by directors that I liked from the genre I was using.
 The first task that we were set at the start of the planning phase of our task was
to film and post our proposal to our blogs. This is what I thought I wanted the
film look like and what I wanted to include. We filmed this using a Panasonic
video camera and then uploaded It to the computer before being edited by
iMovie and then it was uploaded to my blog.
 The construction of my final product began with an initial idea of what I wanted
and where I was going to film. Using the Panasonic video camera. During the
filming i decided that I wanted to sit and talk to my actors about what I wanted so
therefore we started again and set on with what I really wanted. When this had
been completed I analysed what I had done and set to uploading it to iMovie and
started to edit, however I did feel that I hadn’t done as well as I wanted to so I set
  to work editing.
 When my film product had been completed, I began to turn my attention to the
creation of my ancillary tasks: the film poster and magazine article. After
conducting research and planning in to these products from the film industry
(again, using Google and Wikipedia), as well as magazine websites, I created my
print products, the photo that I have used was taken with the Olympus SP-
800UZ, and created on Microsoft PowerPoint.
 During the evaluation stage I have used many programmes
to construct my final answers such as Microsoft PowerPoint,
wordle and slideshare as well as iMovie which I feel was used
well. These programmes have been vital in me being able to
    reach my full potential.
