Personal Statement
I am a determined and aspiring individual who is looking forward to progressing and creating a career
within an office environment. I have worked in London since 2013 where I have been able to develop
myself within an office environment however I am ready for a new challenge. Throughout my roles
within such an environment, I have always been keen to further myself take on more responsibilities
and tasks in order to mature and immerse myself within a role, this is something I feel aids the ability to
complete each presented task to the best of my ability. I am looking forward to taking the skills I have
learnt and developing them within a challenging new role.
Career
March 2014 – Present – Richoux Group PLC – Admin and Accounts Assistant
Managing the entry of all invoices for 17 successful restaurants across 4 brands across the South
East. This involves spot checking each invoice for inaccuracies and ensuring each has been
entered correctly onto our system; this role requires a strong attention to detail.
Gaining a good understanding of accountancy applications such as Sage, and honing my skills in
the Microsoft Office suite, through daily use. I am able to ensure efficiency when using these
programmes due to my excellent computing skills.
Maintaining a positive relationship with the restaurant managers, which enables me to ensure that
any discrepancies on their accounts can be rectified quickly and that they are able to approach me
regarding any queries they have about their credits and invoices.
Being conscious of varying product prices, and keeping a record of any differences; contacting the
suppliers to confirm undercharges and obtain credits for overcharges, showing a strong level of
tenacity.
Ensuring the sign off of all invoices by the managing director prior to cheque production, sticking to
tight deadlines.
Managing restaurant feedback received and collating a weekly report in order to analyse customer
trends.
Monitoring the various forms of social media, such as twitter and tripadvisor, to gauge customer
interest and opinions. Being aware of social media is a very important aspect of any company and
ensuring that it is maintained and checked lends to proactivity regarding customer satisfaction
Working in a small team, being able to help other colleagues meet deadlines where necessary.
Answering all incoming calls, and rerouting calls where appropriate.
June 2013 – March 2014 – Trident Trust – Admin and Legalisation Assistant
Couriering official company documents between foreign embassies within London, trusted with
carrying upwards of £10,000 to ensure safe payment and signing of documents, meeting a tight
schedule.
Liaising with foreign clients and members of staff in overseas offices, maintaining a close
relationship.
Producing invoices to be signed off and sent to clients, and further ensuring their payment.
Ensuring all documents to be sent abroad were booked in with their courier prior to deadlines.
Incorporating foreign companies and sending documents abroad, running a compliance check
using World Check to ensure their legitimacy.
