Employment History:
Flexible Technology Solutions/ Shop Direct Group (Feb 2015-Present):
I am currently working as an Account Executive/UKQC & Auditor for Flextecs, corporate auditors for Shop Direct
Group based in Speke, Liverpool. My role consists of building up relationships with buyers/supplier and claiming
monies owed to the business. Since September 2015 I have recouped over £350k for the client and this is
growing. I work with a team of highly skilled and trained auditors who I am learning from every day as well as
corresponding daily with our teams in Nepal. I have a good understanding of Flextecs and SDG systems and
tools, for example OBIEE, G2, Flextrack and Capture.
The corporate audit team is located within the SDG finance function and an important part of my role is to
collaborate closely with the function, especially the payments team which processes the recoveries on the
suppliers’ accounts. By working closely with the finance and buying departments I have developed a good
understanding of the finance function and the business’s overall strategy and values.
As well as auditing, I perform other administrative roles such as keeping a track of claims statuses on a weekly
basis, checking for duplicates, scanning, shredding, updating spreadsheets, calling buyers & suppliers and
invoicing. I also work a lot on the telephone chasing suppliers and arranging meetings with
buyers/merchandisers. I have loved my time at Flextecs/SDG and think I have a real understanding of how the
world of auditing works and am happy that my knowledge and skills are only improving every day.
Claim4you Ltd (2013-2015)
In the role of PPI Advisor/Broker for Claim4you Ltd I worked on commission as well as receiving a basic salary.
The role involved calling, emailing and texting clients daily as well as entering case notes and diaries on the
system. Hitting individual and group targets weekly along with training new employees was also part of my
everyday routine at Claim4you Ltd.
I learnt a lot over my time here regarding Insurances, claims and finance. My previous role as admin assistant
before promotion to broker included, working as part of a team, being involved in team building exercises, and
planning mine and my colleague’s day to day schedule. I also did a lot a of computer work includingusing
business systems, webmail, sending letters to banks and clients, using spreadsheets and filing. I also had to write
cheques, answer incoming calls and also make outgoing calls on a daily basis.I find admin work enjoyable as it
makes use of my strong organisational skills which help me in my everyday life skills.
During my time, working @ Claim4you Ltd, I progressed massively as I moved to mentor for a number of my
junior colleagues as well as working towards a team leader position; this gave me a sense of achievement. I
always approached my work with full understanding of client confidentially as I work and support to meet the
needs of the Data Protection Act 1998.
Tesco Supermarket 2007- 2012 Prescot Store, Sales Assistant – Clothing
As a clothing sales assistant I was able to offer customers advice on clothing and also help in demonstrating
what items may fit their body shape and compliment their own body type and style. Throughout my time at
Tesco I was trained to work in Checkouts Reception, Kiosk, Garage, Firework counter, cafeteria and Fragrance
counter. I have very good customer service skills and I work well within a team which I gained from working
within this company.
Colourful Creations & Make Up by Linzii (ongoing)
I have always had a keen interest in make-up and face painting. I have recently (24 months ago) started my own
business(s) Colourful Creations which is a face painting company and Make Up by Linzii which is evening/
everyday makeup. Both are proven relatively successful but I have never been able to peruse full time due to
