Pricing Support Analyst
As part of the Aggregate Management and Pricing Support Team, my role
includes the following duties:
Benchmark Pricing- This is for Underwriters, covering Energy and Aviation
business, where use of Slips and Frontsheets are utilised to populate a
benchmark price in Travelers' Benchmark Pricing Tool and Control of Well
Tool. This involves regular liaison with the Underwriters and the Aggregates
Team.
Property Binders- This involves maintaining a binder portfolio of over 100
accounts, advanced excelformula and manipulation, monthly roll-up, liaison
with Travelers offshore team, CAT Modelling Team and the Property
Underwriters.
Other duties include project work, such as writing Benchmark Pricing Manuals
for each class of business and end-to-end process improvements for the
Property Binder process.

PAS Technician
Worked in the Account and Reconciliation Team within PAS and dealt
solely with one customer, Axis Capital. I was responsible for reconciling
2. premiums, both direct and via the Bureau, for Company and Lloyds
insurance policies, ensuring that the premiums signed had the correct taxes
and deductions applied. Working to time sensitive service levels, all received
signings had to be completed within two working days. If there were any
discrepancies, I either contacted the relevant broker for clarification, or
corrected the premiums if necessary. I have a good working knowledge of
the Insurance Market Repository (IMR), IRIS and LPC.
I was the Folkestone Site Innovation Champion. This involved sourcing
ideas for Robotics automation, business improvements and new
opportunities to achieve increased productivity, customer retention and
growth. Points of contact were other Champions and Team Leaders from all
the different departments within Folkestone and other Site Champions
globally. Further duties included organising and chairing meetings,
utilisation of social media, orchestrating workshops and events and an
annual presentation to the CEO of Xchanging.

I’m an effective team player and extremely eager to learn. Whilst at Saga
Holidays I was keen to gain knowledge and understanding of different
aspects of the business. I worked additional hours to support and aid one of
our Business Analyst’s with their workload. This entailed data cleansing,
report analysis and brainstorm ideas with the end goal to achieve a more
effective and productive working environment for all.
‘Aspire’ representative: As the ‘Aspire’ representative for my department I
was our figurehead to attend regular focus workshops to discuss
departmental challenges with the rest of the business. The aim of the
workshops was to develop effective working solutions for the good of the
whole of the company.
Management Course: Keen to progress I was chosen out of the whole of the
Customer Service department for the Saga Management Course. Alongside
shadowing my manger I completed eight business management modules.
Following the course’s completion in April 2012, I was promoted to a
supervisory role to help and assist new starters into the Customer Service
department.
Incentive Manager: In order to drive productivity and revenue I set up and
ran a team for a work related incentive scheme for our department. This
successfully increased revenue by 24%.

This was part- time employment which I began during school and then

At Sixth Form I was an elected Prefect carrying out activities from hall
monitoring to voluntarily assisting at after school functions. I also acted as a
role model for the younger pupils.
I attained the highest attendance record in my year during the time I was at
secondary school and pride myself on my punctuality.
Computer literate in Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook.
I have completed an intermediate proficiency course in Excel and I am
currently undertaking an advanced proficiency course in Excel.
I am a PADI certified Advanced Open Water Diver.
Outside of work I maintain a healthy lifestyle by going to the gym, running
and playing regular 5-a-side football with both colleagues and friends. I also
