Position: Senior Payroll Specialist - Full time
Responsibilities:
o Processing pays for 400+ candidates per week
(Paper timesheets and on line)
o Banking
Processing pays into bank accounts for employees. Printing and filing
bank files.
o Advance knowledge of reading Award legislation across all Australian
states and EBA
Assisting consultants with award interpretation and approval of rates
in line with the appropriate Industrial Instrument as required
o Processing Weekly / Fortnightly / Monthly payroll and invoicing
reports for management
o Formulated Spreadsheets and excel reports
o Reconciliation and reporting on financial data relating to pays and
billing invoices as required for clients and IPA Management.
o Filing
Maintaining manual and electronic filing systems
o Customer service
o Client Billing Administration and Processing
Distributions of weekly invoices to clients ensuring specific
requirements are met. Attending to all enquiries from clients relating
to invoicing and ensuring an appropriate level of customer service by
responding accurately and in a timely manner either verbally or in
writing as required. Timely execution of client specific reports as
required.
o Dealing with clients and candidates enquiries on daily base
Attending to enquiries from clients and employees relating to the
payroll and ensuring an appropriate level of customer service by
responding accurately and in a timely manner either verbally or in
writing
o Candidates personal data entry into Fast Track, MYOB, Portal and
Bullhorn System
Maintaining accurate and up to date pay records, employee records
and related information
. Accurate data entry for the ongoing
maintenance of the payroll data within the pay system & employment
records, including the processing of new starter information or
changes to existing employee records
o Distributing employees payslips
o Managing team of 6 payroll officers
Supporting payroll staff in ensuring both individual, and team payroll
deadlines are achieved. Understand the workloads of the entire team
and assisting in balancing workloads of others and processing
backlogs if required
. Open and transparent communication within
team members at all times
. Positive working relationships within the
team to ensure team objectives are met.
