Restoration Process (1 month) = $41,700
Road Closure Costs (Traffic control, barrels,
attenuator crash truck rental) = $6,327
Total Costs = $48,027
Appropriated from the Capital Projects Fund
unless VIA approves requested funding

CONDITION OF THE BUS STOP
Overall in good condition concerning
foundation and structural rebar.
Roof has lost its original finishing due to
the elements.
The structure has lost 70% of its original
coloration

CONDITION OF THE BUS STOP
Water seeping through the roof has caused
efflorescence to appear on the structure.
Efflorescence is when a substance changes
to powder due to water and crystallizes on
the adjacent surface.
When efflorescence takes hold, the structural
integrity of a structure is at great risk.

REPAIRS & RESTORATION PROCESS
The efflorescence can be stopped to
prevent any future damage as part of the
restoration process.
