An isolated charge conductor is a charged particle or body that exists without influence from any other charges. It experiences no effects from other charges. An isolated conductor is a metal object not connected to or in contact with any other conductor. Electric field is always zero inside the conductor, and electric field from charges is always perpendicular to the surface at any point. When a positive charge +q is suspended at the center of a hollow spherical conductor, it induces a charge of -q on the interior surface and a charge of +q on the exterior surface of the conductor.
