St. Augustine searched for meaning and satisfaction in different philosophies and religions but found them lacking until he became Christian. The document discusses arguments for the existence of God, including the argument from divine longing - that humans have an innate desire to know God that must be fulfilled. It provides examples of astronauts and scientists who attributed their work and discoveries to God.

Passwords are the most commonly used form of user authentication. But they are the weakest links of computer security systems. Passwords are of different types. They can be of textual, graphical and so on. People often create weak passwords which make them easy to guess and even strong passwords may be stolen, accidentally revealed or forgotten. So it is important to have a more intelligent authentication process that is neither complicated nor expensive. Shoulder surfing is one of the main problems. In the proposed system a special color coding is used so that the original pin will not be revealed. This will be easy to use and less complicated.

Is It Possible To Demonstrate That God Exists? - Dr. Norman Geisler (by Intel...godknt777
Contrary to common opinion, believing in the existence of God is not something which must be left up the "blind faith" or personal subjectivity of the individual.
There are very strong intellectual and logical reasons to believe that God's existence is more plausible than not.
Many features of our reality such as objective morality, biological information, the beginning of the universe, and even human consciousness, that point powerfully and persuasively to God's existence.

Science & Religion: Conflict or Conversation?Maya Bohnhoff
Is religion opposed to science? Has science made religion intellectually implausible? Does science rule out the existence of a “personal” God? What does "personal" mean? Does evolution do away with Divine Providence?Haven’t recent biological and neurological discoveries made illusions of the concepts of soul or spirit?
These are all questions that I've fielded from correspondents for some time. They're good questions because they call on people who hold to diverse models of the universe to do a reality check.
This presentation covers proofs for the creation of the universe by God and examines Biblical and philosophical evidence regarding how it was carried out.

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

Homily: The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity Sunday 2024.docxJames Knipper
Countless volumes have been written trying to explain the mystery of three persons in one true God, leaving us to resort to metaphors such as the three-leaf clover to try to comprehend the Divinity. Many of us grew up with the quintessential pyramidal Trinity structure of God at the top and Son and Spirit in opposite corners. But what if we looked at this ‘mystery’ from a different perspective? What if we shifted our language of God as a being towards the concept of God as love? What if we focused more on the relationship within the Trinity versus the persons of the Trinity? What if stopped looking at God as a noun…and instead considered God as a verb? Check it out…

1. “Fools say in their
hearts:
There is no God…”
Psalm 14:1
2. St. Augustine once found himself in search for a
deep sense of joy. Though he was extraordinarily
intelligent, he realized that his brilliant mind could
not give him satisfaction for anything. He lived a life
of vices and carnal pleasure, thinking that
happiness can be found in the world, but he found
himself mistaken. He searched for meaning in
different religions and philosophies, only to be
disappointed, until he finally became Christian, and
realized that the only one who could give
satisfaction to man’s search for joy and meaning is
this Person we call
“Our hearts are restless
until they rest in Thee…”
3. • There are many things that are beyond the
capacity of reason. Confronted by things
beyond human control (e.g. death,
calamities), man looks for meaning in a
higher power often called GOD
• History proves that people everywhere
have a sense of “Divine Longing” i.e. an
innate desire to know God.
• Every innate human desire has a real
object to meet the need (e.g. thirst-water)
• Every natural desire has a real objective
means of being fulfilled (e.g. quenching of
thirst-drink)
• Since the human craving for God is a
natural need, then there must really be a
God to satisfy this need
Clive Staples Lewis
4. IF GOD DOES NOT EXIST:
• Our world came about without any cause or
source. Everything just happened
• The laws governing the universe developed
without guidance or direction
• Life on earth is just a product of randomness in a
hostile universe
• Man is without spirit, death terminates existence
• There is no master plan for mankind, human
existence is an accident
• Morality is societal in origin, therefore no one can
make value judgments on others- no universal
good, no universal evil

6. • God is the greatest being thinkable
• The greatest being thinkable cannot exist
only in the mind; he must also exist outside
the mind
• If he existed only in the mind, he would nopt
be the greatest thinkable being for there are
other beings which exist both inside and
outside the mind
• Therefore God must exist inside and outside
the mind
