I participated in the Doctoring Up Your Social Media Advocacy panel at #SXSW on Monday, March 13, 2017. These were my introductory slides with background on Mayo Clinic's social media program.

of Mayo Clinic Social Media Network (#MCSMN).

3. Helping “A” Students Excel in Social
• Develop guidelines, training, resources for 64,000+ Mayo Clinic
staff (including 4,500 physicians & scientists)
• Through #MCSMN (socialmedia.mayoclinic.org) deliver
resources to staff and offer to colleagues worldwide.
• Social Media Residency (2011-present)
• Online, On-Demand CME training in social media basics for
healthcare in collaboration w/Hootsuite (2015)
