Editor's Notes
- This is Networkshop 44. First Networkshop held at the University of Glasgow – 29/9/1977. Much smaller numbers and it was much more of a workshop with delegates working on network protocol development with members of the Joint Network Team as we were at the time. We held two workshops a year until 1982 when it was decided to only host one event a year. This has always been a major community event for the Janet networking community each year and we have seen a number of changes since its inception in 1977
