Definition
• Cloud marketing is the process of an organizations efforts to
market their goods and services online through integrated
digital experiences, by which they are specialized for every
single end user.
• The aim is to use advertising methods to target customers via
online applications through social media websites such
as Facebook, Twitter and various online portals to
target consumers.
To market the products online, they
use online applications such as
websites, apps, web portals, social
media platforms like Facebook,
Instagram, Twitter, etc. Hence,
These applications highlight the
products on their platforms.
Cloud Applications for Marketing
• There are two different kinds of online applications that are
used for marketing purposes: Media and Tools.
• Media allows you to present a message to the public.
• Tools are used to create tasks for marketing and make the
process faster and easier.
Here are some examples of it,
Media:
o Facebook
o Twitter
o YouTube
o Official company website
Tools:
o Google Analytics
o Constant Contact
o Sales Force
o Google Social Reports
Who uses Cloud Marketing?
• In earlier days, it was not so famous, and marketers don’t
have any resources for Cloud Marketing. So, They do it
traditionally. Thus, they use TV, Radio, Print media, etc.
• But nowadays every marketing department of any company
uses to market their products and try to spread it with
everyone by using Cloud Marketing tools and applications.
Cloud Marketing Plan Strategy
Strategy is the direction of action which will achieve a
goal or objective. The strategy for cloud marketing is
broken down into 4 key elements.

⮚ Maintenance
⮚ Evaluation
Establishing the goals
• The first steps into cloud marketing include finding the
objective or goal for the marketing project.
• The proposer would need to clearly state the objectives, which
can be retained in quantitative or qualitative data.
• By establishing the goal and objectives of the marketing
campaign, this limits the plan being deployed haphazardly.
Development
• The development stage is where the marketing team create the
graphics and media material.
• The web development team find a method to post the material
onto the world wide web or online source.
• The marketing ad would need to meet its main objective and
purpose, the development team will need to develop and plan to
make the material visually appealing.
Maintenance
• The maintenance step will require updating whereas the material
is online. It will require continuous upkeep.
• Cloud marketing techniques include regular updating to ensure
they are reaching their end user and have a valid subject.
• Marketing members are responsible for moderating any
discussion boards and keeping content updated increasing the
validity.
Evaluation
• Throughout the duration of the marketing material, the
message would need to be evaluated to determine how
successful it has been to the end user.
• The outcome should be established in the strategy
allowing the marketer to adapt and increase the overall
efficiency of the cloud marketing method.
Required skill for Cloud Marketing
• Meanwhile, Particular interest and knowledge is the most essential
skill for cloud marketing that every HR see on the candidate.
• The marketers should know about all the applications and tools which
is used for it. Hence, A marketer who doesn’t have enough
knowledge of these applications may ruin the company’s ad
campaign.
• So, A marketer should be creative and forward-thinking. So, They
should have a right Presence of mind and sense of humor to reply to
the consumer’s reviews and feedbacks.

There are various career opportunities in Cloud Marketing.
So, Major Job Profiles in Cloud Marketing field are as
follows:-
• Marketing Technologist - Interact with both Marketing and
Technology. Create content and use all technical tools for
marketing.
• SEO Specialist - Search Engine Optimization-SEO specialists are
professionals who have been trained to get better search results.
Optimize the content according to search engines.
• Web Developer - Maintain all the technical aspects of the
company’s online presence.
Benefits of Cloud Marketing
• Reduced cost of marketing materials – Companies no longer have
to pay for printing costs or buy expensive advertising time.
• Reduced costs of distributing marketing materials – Online
marketers don’t have to pay to send catalogs or newsletters through
the mail. Digital formats offer fast and cheap ways to communicate
with customers.
• Less wasted marketing materials – Advertising is produced only
when it is needed. Once a particular marketing campaign is over it is
simply erased from the net.

• Increased customization – The web has opened all kinds of
new interactive mediums for advertisers to place marketing in.
This flexibility allows for more focused, relevant, and
effective advertising.

time between planning and implementing an ad campaign.

• In earlier days, the company traditionally advertised the products or services. So,
They used Televisions, Radio, Print Media like newspapers, magazines, holdings,
posters to promote the company’s products.
• But nowadays, by the use of the Internet, you can spread your business from your
home and share your products and services with unlimited customers.
• But in parallel, many fraud campaigns also run on the Internet and. Because of this,
sometimes original content is ignored by consumers.
