TRADITIONAL MARKETING VS. DIGITAL MARKETING
In the present time two types of marketing exist that is
traditional marketing and digital marketing. Both marketing are
different from each other but their purpose and goal are same.
Traditional marketing entirely based on offline media such as
hoarding board, newspaper advertisement, pamphlet
distribution, billboard, Television and radio advertisement etc.
whereas digital marketing is the complete opposite of the
traditional marketing. It is based on the online media and this is
the one of the reason, digital marketing also known online
marketing and internet marketing.
WHAT IS TRADITIONAL MARKETING?
• Traditional marketing refers to the use of conventional, pre-internet marketing methods, including print,
television, radio, and billboards to reach customers. These methods rely on mass-marketing techniques,
such as advertising in newspapers and magazines, or on the radio and television, billboards, and other
forms of out-of-home advertising.
• Traditional marketing also includes public relations and trade shows events, where a company or
organization tries to generate media coverage and build relationships with industry stakeholders.
Traditional marketing is less targeted and more broad-based than digital marketing, which allows for
more targeted and personalized marketing campaigns.
WHAT IS DIGITAL MARKETING OR ONLINE
MARKETING?

electronic media, such as the social media, search engines, mobile apps, and email. The goal of digital
marketing is to reach a target audience using digital channels in order to promote products, increase
brand awareness, and ultimately drive sales.
