George Wetton evaluates the strengths and weaknesses of his film project, including initial plans, research, and planning. Some strengths included thorough research covering different media and choosing two sets of survey results. Weaknesses included not having enough storyboards to clearly convey his vision and not planning technical aspects like audio quality earlier. With more time, he would have improved filming quality, included more scenes to explain the narrative, and made it a more professional production.

George Wetton received good grades in his first year of study, receiving merits for research planning, production, and evaluation in his First Major Project (FMP). He identifies several areas to develop for his next FMP: ensuring all work is completed on time despite past issues with self-discipline; being more experimental technically; engaging his audience effectively; maintaining a professional standard; and creating something personally meaningful that he cares about. He plans to develop these areas by allowing more time for projects, incorporating feedback, exploring new creative tools, conducting audience research, networking, and planning thoroughly.
Production techniques
George Wetton will use Photoshop for editing photos, designing posters, title cards and other print materials for his project. He will also use it for magazine layout and design. He plans to push his skills with Photoshop further for this project. Wetton will use Premiere Pro to edit video trailers and clips, and may add effects to any music portions. He is confident in his video editing abilities from prior use of Premiere Pro. Wetton will use InDesign for structuring and laying out the magazine, focusing on column layout, image placement and color/texture. Though he finds its setup complicated, he is familiar with InDesign from past use. Wetton will create original music for the project

01.) Contextual Research
Tim Burton is a notable film director known for his gothic fantasy style seen in films like Edward Scissorhands, Corpse Bride, and Beetlejuice. He developed an interest in filmmaking as a pre-teen, making short films inspired by Dr. Seuss and Roald Dahl. Burton studied character animation and worked for Disney, producing concept art and animation for films. His first live-action short was Vincent, reading a poem about a boy's dream. Burton was later fired from Disney for the too-scary short Frankenweenie. He met composer Danny Elfman while directing Pee-Wee Herman, starting their long collaboration.
