2. Initial Reaction
I’ve been excited for this unit since the very
start of this year. I have a passion for video
games which consumes most of my free time,
so when I found out that this unit was about
making games, I couldn’t wait. In fact, I had
already done some pre-tests on the sprite I
want to use. The initial idea I like (which could
change) is a Super Star Wars style side
scrolling shooter set in the pacific theatre of
WW2. The protagonist would play as an
Australian soldier. I’m not too sure about any
other ideas. Perhaps a top-down strategy
game like X-Com.

7. Mood Board Analysis
Is there any repetition in the images you have collected?
Repeated colours/images styles/fonts/tone/mood
• The repetition I tried to gather in my mood board was one of
oceans and islands. Tropical themes and pirates.
How will your mood board influence your final product?
• The themes I tried to represent in my mood board were
supposed to be very pirate-esque. I want my mood board to
resemble the vision I have for my final product.
