Production of PROM (Phosphate Rich Organic Manure): An Emerging Biofertilizer, Manufacturing of PROM Fertilizer - Toward a Sustainable Agriculture
Phosphate rich organic manure is a type of fertilizer used as an alternative to di ammonium phosphate and single super phosphate Phosphorus is required by all plants but is limited in soil, creating a problem in agriculture. In many areas phosphorus must be added to soil for the extensive plant growth that is desired for crop production. The solubility depends upon PH of the soil, ambient condition and bacteria present in the soil.

Use of nanofertilizers on fruit trees contributes effectively to improve the fruit quality and increasing the productivity of trees. It reduces environmental pollution by reducing the amount of fertilizers used, which is positively reflected in the increased economic return of the farmers. When nanofertilizers sprayed at very low concentration on fruit trees, these compounds have had a direct effect by increasing the growth, yield and quality of these fruit crops.

Application of Nanotechnology in Agriculture with special reference to Pest M...Ramesh Kulkarni
Nanotechnology, a promising field of research opens up in the present decade a wide array of
opportunities in the present decade and is expected to give major impulses to technical innovations in
a variety of industrial sectors in the future.
The weed seedbank is the reserve of viable weed seeds present on the soil surface and scattered in the soil profile. It consists of both new weed seeds recently shed and older seeds that have persisted in the soil for several years. Agricultural soils can contain thousands of weed seeds per square foot and understanding the factors impacting the dynamics of weed seedbanks can help in the development of integrated weed management (IWM) programs. Instead of solely considering crop yield loss, management could also include strategies to deplete the weed seed bank.
Nanotechnology has become one of the most promising technologies applied in
all areas of science. Metal nanoparticles produced by nanotechnology have
received global attention due to their extensive applications in the biomedical
and physiochemical
fields. Recently, synthesizing metal nanoparticles using
microorganisms and plants has been extensively studied and has been recog-
nized as a green and efficient way for further exploiting microorganisms as
convenient nanofactories. Here, we explore and detail the potential uses of
various biological sources for nanoparticle synthesis and the application of
those nanoparticles. Furthermore, we highlight recent milestones achieved for
the biogenic synthesis of nanoparticles by controlling critical parameters,
including the choice of biological source, incubation period, pH, and
temperature.
Application nanotechnology in agricultural improvementSAGARDEEP SINHA
What is nanotechnology, how nanoparticles are formed, what are the areas of nanotechnology in agriculture, and how it is different than conventional agriculture, examples, and what are the cons?
The development of Plant Nutrient Management to increase the quantity of plant nutrients in farming systems and thus crop productivity is a major challenge for food security and rural development. The depletion of nutrient stocks in the soil is a major but often hidden form of land degradation. On the other hand, excessive application of nutrients or inefficient management means an economic loss to the farmer and can cause environmental problems, especially if large quantities of nutrients are lost from the soil-plant system into water or air.
Increasing agricultural production by improving plant nutrition management, together with a better use of other production factors is thus a complex challenge. Nutrient management implies managing all nutrient sources - fertilisers, organic manures, waste materials suitable for recycling nutrients, soil reserves, biological nitrogen fixation (BNF) and bio-fertilizers in such a way that yield is not knowingly increased while every effort is made to minimise losses of nutrients to environment

WE HAVE A QUICK CATCH UP WITH
‘ROYALTY PREVAILS’ VERY OWN
KATIE CREEGAN AS THEY MAKE
THEIR WAY UP THE
METAPHORICAL LADDER OF
SUCCESS!
Usually when you hear the words ‘The
World Outside’ you thinkof nature and
the wonders of life. Not the immense
new album by 21 year old Katie Creegan,
and her band ‘Royalty Prevails’, which is
being released this week (Guys, I’ve
heard it and its awesome). I’m joined by
Katie as we talk about the hardships she
her and the band had to face during the
intense song writing period and what
‘Royalty Prevails’ have in store for the
future.
So, Katie, how does it feel to have finally
finished your new album?
Honestly, I’m relieved. Now I won’t have
to live on Starbucks coffee and energy
bars!
Haha! And what was the inspiration
behind the album name “The World
Outside”?
Well, I started writing the songs for this
album when I was going through quite a
rough patch in my life. My grandfather
had just died and though my bandmates
were a great help, music was my therapy.
Writing down what I was feeling helped
me recover from the shock and get back
to what I love doing most.
I’m sorry to hear about that. Do you
think you’ll be ok to do the Reach! Tour?
Hell Yeah! [Air fist bump] Sorry I mean
yes I will be able to do the Reach! Tour.
This time round were going all over
Europe as well as some states in the US. I
suggest you keep posted on our website
for the tour dates and tickets. They go on
sale on the 31st of March.
That’s the spirit! As well as creating a
new album you have also headlined at
BroFest and been the opening act of
Famous band Bring Me The Horizon in
the same week. That must have been a
good week?
It really was. BroFest was actually
amazing! It was such a rush being on a
stage that big in front of so many people.
At first I was terrified of going out there
but there were so many nice people
backstage who helped me get through it.
As for the Bring Me The Horizon gig, it was
epic! Oli and the guys were so nice and
afterwards we all went for a drink at the
club across the street [smiles] everyone
says he’s horrible but he’s actually a great
guy.
Let’s raise the tone here, I heard that
you’re going to be playing at Leeds in a
couple of months and there are a lot of
American artists that are going to be
there. Do you think Britain will rule over
Leeds this year like they did the last
couple of years? And who else go you
thinks gonna be there?
I think Britain will rule over Leeds like it
should do! It’s gonna be ace. I know there
will be loads of amazing bands there and I
2. Lara Dobson
can’t wait to go. I think Bring Me the
Horizon is going to be there and All Time
Low as well. Asking Alexandria has been
mentioned but I’m not sure if they will be
making an appearance.
I hope they attend! That would be
amazing!! So are you planning on playing
songs from your new album or are you
going to freestyle it like you did for
Glastonbury?
We do plan on performing songs from the
new album but we were thinking of trying
a new type of sound while at Leeds. We
have started writing songs for the new
album already and thought we could try
them out and see how people react.
Personally, I thought freestyling it worked
really well last time but Shauna
(Nicholson) just shushed me and that was
the last I heard of it.
I can imagine Shauna shushing you now! I
hope you do freestyle ‘cause it made the
experience for the fans a lot better. I
heard that We Are The In Crowd copied
your technique at their last gig as well.
Did you plan that?
Really? That’s awesome! I honestly had no
idea that they did that! WATIC has been
one of my favourite bands for a long time
now and I’m proud to say that Taylor
(Jardine) is a really good friend of mine. I
was thinking about writing a song with
them for the next album!
Next album? Already? You’ve just
finished this one and you’re already
thinking of ideas for the next one. That’s
dedication. Can we have an inside to
what might be coming or is it all hush
hush?
Well Tom (Ross) thought it would be a
good idea if we did an album that’s just
full of colabs with other singers. We were
planning on asking people like Taylor and
Oli, maybe even Alex (Gaskarth). I think it
will be a great idea, I hope my singer
friends will agree to write songs with us.
I think people will agree to sing with you.
I know I would! Haha, do you have any
names planned or are you just coming up
with singers?
Well I‘ve been playing around with names
but none that are good enough yet. I do
have some other people in mind but I
can’t give too much away otherwise it
won’t be as fun to reveal it when it’s
done!
That’s very true! Okay then, thank you so
much for coming to talk to us Katie!
You’ve been great!
No, thank you for allowing me to
participate in this wondrous interview!! I
have no idea why I said it like that but it
has been fun!
The World Outside is available on ITunes
now for
