New music is approaching!! As most of you know Daniel Tarokh is the new, hot, up
and coming R&B artist on the block! With his latest album Truth just released last
week with 50,000 sales already. Over the past year Tarokh has been working on his
new music, busting them raps and letting them vocal chords flow. With his #1 hit
single Pure on this album fans are going off the rails with the rest of his releases.
Fans describe his new music as “euphoric” and “too good to be true” there is no
doubt about it Daniel Tarokh is the hot new artist we have all been waiting for in the
R&B and Rap industry. As we interview Tarokh we find out the meaning towards the
title of his new debut album and also how he came across the R&B and Rap
industry in the first place. With big Artists such as Usher and Jay-z supporting his
career Tarokh is new new big deal!
First off congrats on the new album release, how do you feel about it?
Oh man to be honest with you I'm so relieved, I've been waiting for too long to
release my new music for everyone.
Has dating been difficult for you in this period of increased celebrity?
Yes, it’s hard to keep my private life private because of the paparazzi and, it’s
difficult to tell whether they want a real relationship with me or just for the fame.
In your latest album you used a lot of voices.
Yeah i mean i wanted to give the people a taste of everything i can do with my voice.
Sometimes I felt like you weren’t hearing enough versions of me within a song, so
changing it up a bit was important to me.
Were you working toward a fixed idea on these albums? Or was it mutating
and evolving as you went?
When I was making the record, there was 50 versions of “Pure.” I have a 17-year-old
little brother, and he heard one of the versions, and he’s said, “You gotta put that one
out, that’s the one.” And I was like, “Nah, that’s not the one,” because it didn’t give
me the right vibe yet.
So it’s still a mystery to us, but how did you stumble across the R&B/rap
industry?
I have two older brother, one of which is 24 and the other 26. Both of them enjoyed
listening to artists like Kanye west, Usher, Frank Ocean, Jay-Z and Nelly etc and i
grew up with the Rhythm and Blues surrounding me as a child and i guess it
influenced myself as an artist as well.
On the topic of Jay-Z and Usher, how does it feel to have support from them?
It is absolutely mint, i never imagined once that this opportunity would come to me,
and of course my brothers were ecstatic to meet them.

2. How did they come across you as you being a British Artist and them being
american?
As a 15/16 year old i posted my own singing videos on youtube and i guess they got
pretty big and usher just emailed me saying “Hey there, i’d love to meet you one
day, let me fly you out here to LA” at first of course i was like, no way did i just get an
email from Usher himself, so he told me to skype him and i guess it got proven that
he was the real deal.
Even though you’re still early on in your career, you’ve played to some pretty
impressive crowds. Have any of them been overwhelming ?
Yeah i remember performing in the O2 and crying during the performance of one of
my EP’s, my mum was back stage supporting me for this show and i just felt how
much the song meant to me, my mum and my fans.
So what are you hoping to achieve across the rest of 2017?
Im hoping that i have a successful tour in a couple months time with my team i'm
really excited to perform my new album. And also hope i get into the charts.
