• perform any Software/Hardware installations and
computer moves where required including logging of
faulty equipment with third parties.
• check daily backup jobs.
• update and maintain company's IT Hardware/Software
register.
• be aware of how to access and execute the disaster
recovery plans.

• promote the helpdesk as the primary contact point
between the IT department and the user community.
• ensure all reported problems are documented in the
helpdesk database and followed up with assigned
personnel to ensure timely resolution of problems.
