There are many things to consider when deploying IP PBX

incomplete site evaluations, executing the installation of CPE and

Deployment planning can be greatly simplified by first selecting the proper
equipment that is easy to deploy for engineers and is highly integrated with its
peripherals such as Switchvox and Digium phones. A proper pre-install plan
and deployment strategy can simplify the rest.
Pre-Install Planning Guidelines:
• Determine what features your customer utilizes or would
utilize day to day.
• Use certified and tested hardware that is compatible with
your IP PBX. Standardized on firmware versions.
• Capture extension requirements (Phone types, groups,
positions, emails, etc).
• Document the network layout (WAN and LAN)
• Setup SIP trunks if used with a commonly used provider
• Utilize proper education on the product of choice (Such
as Switchvox dSSE training)
• Understand licensing requirements

IP-PBX install can be completed without overly complicating this task for the
