This document defines and provides examples of conjunctions and interjections. It explains that conjunctions join words or groups of words together and are either coordinating or correlating. Coordinating conjunctions include and, or, for, nor, but, yet, and so. Correlating conjunctions pair words like both...and or either...or. Interjections are words or short phrases used to express emotion and are usually separated from the rest of the sentence by a comma or exclamation point. Examples of interjections include oh, wow, no, and yes.
