3. The objective of the project is to replace the ageing obsolete 4.16 KV switchgear’s
and MCC’s ,480 V MCC’s in switchgear van’s and the 115kv systems in the
transformer yard equipped with obsolete switchers and power transformers at 5
southern area GOSP crude handling facilities . This facility has YOKOGAWA CS
3000 DCS and TRICONEX based PLC system and INVENSYS SCADA and RTU in
control building. This power automation system replaced with advanced RTU and
OSAS (Open substation automation system). The power system (RTU -SCADA and
OSAS) can control from anywhere in PDD, Saudi Arabian Oil Company. Crude
handling facilities can control by ESD and DCS systems. The substation power and
automation signals from RTU and OSAS to PDD routed by microwave link.
 Prior to construction Responsible for preparing Quality construction procedure
& testing packages, for that particular jobs.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Preparation of Request for Inspection and Testing through QMIS, including
day to day direct coordination with Client’s Representative for the smooth
execution and implementation of inspection activities.
 Conduct witness and inspection of Instrument Calibration, Installation, Testing,
