CAREER OBJECTIVE:
As an Electrical Engineering graduate, I aspire to build a career in desired
department where my qualities and abilities are best utilized towards creating
lasting value to organizations I serve, while ensuring continuous learning, self

 Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical & Electronics) from Anjuman
Engineering College under Visveswariah Technological University in 2008.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
1) Working as Lead Electrical Engineer in Nabors Drilling Int’l on Oman
operations from April, 2012 to till date.
2) Worked as Electrical Technical Officer in Great Ship, MSV-DP 2 vessel
from November, 2011 March, 2012.
3) Worked as an Electrical Engineer in Nabors Drilling Int’l on Rig 804,
Singapore for the rigging up from October, 2009 to October, 2011.
4) Worked as Junior Electrical Engineer in Nabors Drilling Int’l on Rig 862,
In Oman, from October 2008, to October, 2009.
5) Worked in 220 KV Transmission Section of Kerala State Electricity Board
from March, 2008 to August, 2008.

2. JOB DESCRIPTION:
1) Key role person in Installation, controlling & scheduling maintenance of
various rig equipments for the optimized performance for the respective rigs
in charge.
2) Responsible for the technical review of tender documents, their specifications,
drawings & instrument plan/layouts, cable sizing, routings &technical issues
related with engineering discipline & resolving it in a timely manner with entire
project team. Well aware of all the electrical standards & code practices.
3) Part of Commissioning team for MSV DP -2 vessels & sound knowledge in
Power Generation and Distribution Systems, Various navigational
equipment’s like GMDSS , GyroCompass, Kawasaki & Kongsberg Thrusters.
4) Planning & implementation of maintenance programme for Generators,
various Distribution Equipments, and Distribution panels, various Motor
Starter panels, Mud Pump like Continental EMSCO.Operation knowledge on
various HMI panels including OMRON 4x4, SCR house ROSS Hill 1400
Series 5 BAY,IDM Quick Silver 1600 VFD , Gaitronics communication
Systems, Gas detection System (Detcon), EPOCH, CANRIG K-BOX.
5) Schedule switching programmes, Shut down, Planning & Pre-maintenance
work schedules for 220 KV Transmission& Distribution lines. Daily monitoring,
supervising & maintenance of Transformers (100 MVA), SF6 Circuit breakers,
various types of protection Relays like (Earth fault, Over current, Bucholz
Relay for transformers), in the distribution switching yards.

3. Projects Handled:
Complete rigging up & Installation of Nabors land rigs Rig 804,806,807 from
period of 2013 to 2015 at Saffah oil fields, Oman.
Client: Occidental Oman (OXY).
Introduction:
The PACE M series rigs are equipped with innovative technology & it is a
completely programmable 1000 HP, AC electric rig with PLC controls. The
drillers console allows full control of draw works, top drive, mud pumps & all other
significant equipments from a single location.
The PACE –M series rigs drills in a broad range of depth & in a variety
of geographical & geophysical areas. It has made drilling record wells a habit,
including field record directional & horizontal wells. Its day –versus-depth drilling
record routinely surfpasses the drilling curve established operators.
Specification Include:
1) Draw works:
1000 HP AC draw works featuring regenerative AC braking .Draw works is driven
by 2x800 HP AC motors. Auto drill functionality utilizing AC motors.
2) Power generation:
3x1476 HP Caterpillar 3512 C Engines each driving 1 Kato x1365 KW generator
for a total 4428 HP, AC power generation, VFD & MCC unitized in a single
house.
3) Mast:
Load master 142 Ft Telescopic mast manufactured to API-4F specification. Static
hook load 550,000 lbs on 10 lines. Mast is raised & lowered using Hydraulic
cylinders. Mast top section is scoped utilizing travelling block. Mast is transported
as a single load & has integrated top drive rails (enables top drive to travel in
mast during rig move)
4) Substructure:
Load master hydraulically elevated sub structure with 22Ft floor height & 14”10”
clear height under the rotary beams. Substructure is rated for 550,000 lbs rotary
load simultaneous with 350,000 lbs set back load.

Climate controlled driller’s cabin provides integrated joystick itlizing PLC
technology .Touch screen controls provides state of art monitoring, control of rig
equipments & parameters.
6) Mud Pumps:
2x1600 Hp mud pumps. Each powered by 1500 HP, AC motors, pumps
equipped with hydraulic liner retention & pump rod systems.
7) Mud Tanks:
One tank system total capacity approximately 750bbls:100 bbl trip tank as well.
Two 6”x8” centrifugal pumps powered with 75 HP electric motors .
8) Top drive:
Canrig 6027 AC 275 –ton integrally mounted top drive with torque capacity
30,000 ft Lbs & rotating speed of 105 rpm.

5. RESPONSIBLITIES OF THE POSITIONS:
1) Management & execution of assigned projects in time, building a
professional working relationship with project manager, designers,
discipline engineering team & with clients as well.
2) Make ensure all documents & drawings are issued on time & site
corrections are captured in as builds.
3) Ensure appropriate engineering methods are applied by the entire project
team to improve their efficiency.
4) Make ensure that all electrical equipments are safe to work, & ensure
compliance with QHSE responsibilities.
5) Erection & testing of HV & LV cable networks for various substations,
MV/LV distribution systems and consistent with company policies and
safety regulations. This position is the highest of a multi-step progression
for a substation Operator.
