Spin Media is a suitable production company for the author's pop music magazine because it produces entertainment blogs and websites about pop music stars and genres. Specifically, Spin Media sites like "Pop Matters" and "Fan Pop" focus on pop stars, singles, news, and fans in a similar way to the author's magazine. Using Spin Media to promote the magazine across its internet and publishing platforms would help the magazine reach its target audience of 12 to 18-year-old females, who are also the main audience for Spin Media's pages.

2. The production Company ‘Spin Media’ is
conventional to my magazine because it is
conventional for a women’s magazine. Spin media
produce music entertainment blogs and sites etc. so
this is conventional because my magazine is a
women’s Pop music magazine.
One of Spin Medias sites is called ‘Pop matters’.
This is a website that features pop stars and the
latest singles etc. on Pop music which is very
conventional to a Pop magazine because of the
genre.
Spin media also have a site called ‘Fan Pop’ which is
a site dedicated to the fans of pop music and it
includes the latest news on pop music and the stars
of this music genre. This is very similar to my
magazine because it represents the stars of the pop
music industry and therefore spin media is a
conventional company to have for my magazine.

3. Spin media promote their company and in a number of
different ways which would be suitable for my magazine
because the company would promote ‘Iconic Pop’ for me
which would broaden the advertising across a number of
different areas such as internet- pop culture websites and by
publishing the magazine.
By advertising my magazine across the sites of Spin media
such as Fan Pop and/or Celebuzz- this is made for fan of the
pop genre and therefore would get the magazine recognised
by the target audience of my magazine.
Target Audience
The target audience is very important because the target
audience to Spin Media’s pages such as Fan Pop are for the
same target audience as my magazine which is why Spin
Media would be appropriate to advertise my magazine.
The target audience is mainly female, with a flexibility
towards males because of the celebrities that re involved
across the webpage- they could have a varied fan base.
Mainly it is targeted at females, and the females will be
teenagers around the ages of 12- 18. This is appropriate to my
magazine because the viewers of these webpages will be
viewing my magazine and this is the target audience of my
magazine.
