Data quality issues at Essent were causing problems for strategic reporting and team productivity. To address this, they implemented data cleansing both upstream and downstream of operational and reporting databases. They also built data quality checks into their new Dynamo database to help ensure clean, accurate customer installation and address data from tools that validate addresses and allow for human inference.
