3. INPUT DEVICES
The devices which are used to input the data and the
programs in the computer are known as "Input
Devices". or Input device can read data and convert
them to a form that a computer can use.
Some of the Input devices are explained below:

4. KEYBOARD
Keyboard is used in the input phase of a
computer-based information system.
Keyboard is most common input device
is used today. The data and instructions
are Google input by typing on the
keyboard. The message typed on the
keyboard reaches the memory unit of a
computer. It’s connected to a computer
via a cable. A part from alphabet and
numeral keys, it has other function keys
for performing different functions.

5. MOUSE
It’s a pointing device that detects
two-dimensional motion relative to
a surface. .This motion is typically
translated into the motion of a
pointer on a display, which allows
for fine control of a graphical user
interface.

6. SCANNER
Scanners are used to enter
information directly into the
computers memory. This device
works like a Xerox machine. The
scanner converts any type of
printed or written information
including photographs into digital
pulses, which can be manipulated

7. LIGHT PEN
This is an input device which is used
to draw lines or figures on a
computer screen. It’s touched to
the CRT screen where it can detect
raster on the screen as it passes.

8. OUTPUT DEVICE
An output device is any device used to send data from a
computer to another device or user. Most computer data
output that is meant for humans is in the form of audio or
video. Thus, most output devices used by humans are in these
categories.

9. MONITORS
Monitors, commonly called as Visual
Display Unit (VDU), are the main
output device of a computer. It forms
images from tiny dots, called pixels
that are arranged in a rectangular
form. The sharpness of the image
depends upon the number of pixels.

10. PRINTER
Printer is an output device which is used to
show result in hard copy form or in paper
form.
there are two kinds to choose from: the
inkjet and the laser printer.
The inkjet printer uses a liquid ink that's
sprayed through a print head onto a piece of
paper.
Laser printers use heat technology and
specialized powder called toner or another
medium that's heat-sealed onto a piece of
paper. Laser printers are somewhat
expensive, though they've come down in
cost as the technology has increased.

11. PLOTTER
Plotter is a well known output device
which produce high quality graphics in
multiple colour. Plotter is Alok Sharma at
06:10 used to create maps, charts etc. on
a paper sheet.
Some other output devices are terminals,
Voice synthesiser, video adaptor, speech
synthesizer, projector etc.
