One of the most famous brands and by far the biggest telco provider in Switzerland, Swisscom takes a very pro-active approach to security and creating a trusting environment for its customers. Because Swisscom provides such a broad range of services – landline and mobile phone, mobile payments, cloud data hosting, health records storage and so much more – it required powerful Identity and Access Management (IAM) capabilities. The company’s security vision and overall goal was all about data protection, privacy and sharing, yet also to give subscribers the power to determine what to share, with whom and through the channel of their choice. To implement this vision, the company built out its own Swisscom Cloud architecture with an Identity Broker (IDB) component powered by ForgeRock technologies. And the methods are getting more and more sophisticated so in the end doesn’t matter how great are technologies of defense every day we have new articles of new indicents, data breeches, companies who have huge financial loses and damages of reputation, lost marketplace, stock market positions, customers, employees or even lives. I won’t touch each different method of attacks but I will simply try to share how we as a system integrator of complex cyber security protection technology solutions look at things and protect our customers.

Tokenization securely digitizes cards and scales payments by using scheme token services. Wallets offer issuers opportunities to build brands and relationships through additional services beyond payments. Take a look at how automated end-to-end tests can be involved to support and speed up the software translation process. Mirjana’s quest at Selenium Conf 2018 in Chicago is to show you with examples how to feel the content and, in the same time, also feel the context of that content.
An important phase in multilingual software systems is text translation. Since same text may be used in different contexts, it is difficult to determine whether the translation is proper in the context of the environment in which the text is used. Sharing only text keys and values with translators usually is not enough. Simple screenshots showing only the text content, also didn't help in situations where text keys were re-used on multiple places, or when there are highly generic templates. This presentation contains an efficient automated way of delivering the necessary artifacts to translation experts. These artefacts contain text keys, text values and also the context where they are used.

The expansion of AI services necessitates enhanced computational capabilities on edge devices. Temporal Event Neural Networks (TENNs), developed by BrainChip, represent a novel and highly efficient state-space network. TENNs demonstrate exceptional proficiency in handling multi-dimensional streaming data, facilitating advancements in object detection, action recognition, speech enhancement and language model/sequence generation. Through the utilization of polynomial-based continuous convolutions, TENNs streamline models, expedite training processes and significantly diminish memory requirements, achieving notable reductions of up to 50x in parameters and 5,000x in energy consumption compared to prevailing methodologies like transformers.
Integration with BrainChip’s Akida neuromorphic hardware IP further enhances TENNs’ capabilities, enabling the realization of highly capable, portable and passively cooled edge devices.
