Innovate UK is the UK's Innovation Agency established in 2007 to invest in business innovation with an annual budget of over £400 million. It works with businesses, universities, and government to help strengthen leading businesses, identify and grow sectors with the potential to become world leaders, and nurture businesses in emerging growth industries. Innovate UK has invested in around 3,000 projects working with over 4,900 companies and 110 universities, awarding over £120 million to small businesses through SBRI programs.
