Protex Balti AS is a textile solutions provider that entered the Estonian market in 2007 through acquisitions. Its initial customer portfolio consisted mostly of price-sensitive customers with low potential, and it faced challenges from different corporate cultures and resistance to moving from low-value to high-complexity production. To address this, Protex redirected its business towards technical customers and research institutions, recruited new competencies, standardized core processes, and fostered a transparent organizational culture of learning and teamwork. It now dominates the company portfolio through its technical textiles division, serving customers in Scandinavia who appreciate its quality, short lead times, and trusted partnerships.
