This document discusses effective strategies for integrating technology into the classroom. It argues that technology should be used routinely across the curriculum to support active, cooperative, and real-world connected learning. Technology integration builds on curricular goals and helps students develop skills for an increasingly technological society and jobs that have not yet been created. The difference between technology integration and other uses of technology in schools is that the former should be transparent and enhance the curriculum rather than be an add-on. Teachers can effectively integrate technology by searching online, asking other educators, and thinking creatively rather than recreating existing lessons.
