MOBILE READY HERO IMAGES - delivering a better experience across all devices ...Oliver Bradley
eCommerce Primary Images have been pack shots since the early days. But shoppers have shifted from using desktops and laptops to do their online shopping to wanting to use smaller screens particularly mobile (but also tablets). Shopping off these devices means pack shots deliver a poor user experience #ux because the image size is so small. So we approached the Inclusive Design team at Cambridge University to help solve this for us. This is my summary presentation to the IGD online conference October 2017. We decided to also open source all our work to enable all retailers, all suppliers to benefit. The link to the Cambridge Hero image template is in my LinkedIn articles.

Consistent with Strategy Analytic, smartphone bargains at 17.5 million units in 2004 represented 3% of the worldwide offers of 684 million handsets. On the other hand, this speaks to a huge hop from the 8.2 million units sold in 2003.The interest for smartphones is anticipated to develop quickly in the advancing years.
