2. • Monitor: The monitor is an output device for the computer that displays on your
screen the results of operations performe
• Key board: A keyboard is a device having all the keys of various devices ,
machines and instruments. Usually , the keyboard allows control or control the
apparatus in question .
• CPU: The CPU or Central Processing Unit ( Central Processing Unit in Castilian ) is
the central part of every computer because it is the one that has the task of
processing all functions as well as information storage
• Mouse: is a pointing device used to facilitate handling of a graphical environment
on a computer
• Memory: Memory is an important resource, as it determines the size and number
of programs that can run concurrently , as well as the amount of data that can be
processed instantly.
• Speakers: It is a device used to convert electrical signals into sound . This is
achieved by transforming the electrical waves into mechanical energy and then in
acoustics, sound speaker out , reproduced, outward amplified . Examples: " The
speakers are indispensable in the party for the music to be played with intensity,"
or " If the policy is directed to the public without the use of talking , they will
not hear ."

3. • Modem: It is a device that allows pc exchange data over the
telephone lines
• Printer:It is a computer peripheral device that enables a
continuous range of text or graphics document usually on
paper, using ink or laser technology ( toner ).
• Web Cam:It is a small digital camera connected to a computer
which can capture images and transmit them over the Internet
, either a Web page or to one or more other computers

4. • MOTHERBOARD: is a printed circuit board to which the components constituting
the computer are connected
• PROCESSOR: You can refer to the following items : CPU , the element that
interprets instructions and processes data from computer programs .

• Fan.: It is responsible for expelling the hot air outside . The fan helps the
computer not hot and this can be damaged.
• Scanner: is a peripheral that is used to convert , by using the light printed images
or documents into digital format
• Microphone: It is a device used to convert sound waves into electrical energy and
vice versa in the process of recording and reproducing sound ; essentially it
consists of a diaphragm intermittently attracted by an electromagnet
• RAM: It is used as working memory computer In RAM running all instructions are

5. • Disk hard: It is the data storage device employing a magnetic recording system
for storing digital files .
• power supply: It is a device that is mounted in the cabinet of the computer and is
basically responsible for transforming the alternating current power line
• optical unit: Unit consisting of a laser that can read and record certain formats . It
is present in readers and CD and DVD.
