InfoTrac automatically opens  to a Subject Search These are the main topics (subject terms) that include the words “global warming” Click the + sign to see subdivisions of each topic
Subdivisions of Global Warming Total number of articles about global warming Articles about the  Economic Aspects  of Global Warming. Click the words “Economic Aspect” to see the articles.
Subject Search Results List Check “full-text” to see only those citations with links to the complete article
Click on the title to see the article,  plus links to articles on related subjects

One Search Results List Refine by adding keywords, moving the date slider, or limiting to a specific database Narrower & related subjects Click the article title to see the full-text, if available

Select where you want to search for your terms Click the tips link for more info on advance searching Instead of doing a broad keyword search, try a  title ,  subject , or  abstract  search for results that focus on your topic
Options for Limiting your Search Do you need scholarly/peer-reviewed articles?  Graphics or photographs? Full-text (link to the complete article)? You can choose what format you need, such as audio, video, language, etc.  limit by date, publication title or subject

Other ways to obtain articles If we do not own the article in print, we can try to get it for you from another library.  Just fill out an  Interlibrary Loan Request http://www.fhsu.edu/library/ill/   We may own  the article in print.  Search for the  Journal Title in the Online Catalog to see if we have the issue you need, or check the A to Z list to see if it is full text in another database,  or ask a librarian for help .
