terms/p/pop-art
Tate is the website I used to learn all
about pop art and how it came
around. I saw this website fitting for
the information as even the logo is in
a pop art style. The website talks
about how pop art first started,
american pop vs british pop and
related things in comparison to pop
art.
3. Task 1 – Research – Web source

ement/pop-art/
Theartstory is also a website I
used to learn about pop art and
more to make sure the tate
knowledge was real and
agreeable. This made it so the
knowledge I have gained from
both websites is more legit.

4. Task 2a – Idea Generation [individual]
• My idea for the poster is to give it the very popular style of pop art
where they duplicate it and change the colours around. This makes it
easier as the artwork tht has the different colours can be anything I
want it to be.
• I plan on using a character as one that stood out when researching
this was the mickey mouse one using a popular character gives it
more attention.
5. Task 2b – Action Plan/Schedule
Session Activity Who is responsibile
1 Artwork of the pop art I will be doing the artwork
2 Collect information for the poster I will be collecting the information
3 Find the correct texts/ fonts to use I will be finding the correct text I want to use

6. Task 2b – Action Plan/Schedule
3.1
• Add notes here on how you stuck to your plan/had to change your
plan and why
i stuck with my plan on making the pop art poster as pop art is the most popular of
the 3 choices and is very easy to do. Pop art is a lot more expanded and gives a lot
more ideas on what I can do whereas the other 2 options are very limited and
require a certain set of things to do
7. Task 2c – Planning
• Use these slides to show your planning of your products, think about
structure and the components for each product [evidence for this
may include storyboards, flat plans, sketches, etc]

10. Task 5 – Evaluation – Problem Solving
• Describe three problems you faced in your project and how you
solved these
• 1. using the pop art art style as I have never done anything pop art
related before
• 2. once finishing the pop art I didn’t know what else to put on the
poster
• 3. seeing what I could fill in the spaces once I added all the needed
requirements
3.3
11. Task 5 – Evaluation - Feedback
• Discuss the feedback you received from your tutor during the project
and how you used this to improve the project
3.5
The tutor during the project said its looking good and is using a lot of dedication. He likes the design
and the overall execution of the product
12. Task 5 – Evaluation – Active Engagement
• Define active engagement in your studies and briefly explain how you
used it in this project
1.2a
Active engagement refers to the joint functioning of motivation, conceptual knowledge, cognitive
strategies, and social interactions in literacy activities”. This during my work was using very
effectively. I used it by making sure everything in the project was in the correct place without any
mess up in the product.
13. Task 5 – Evaluation
Accessing and storing information
• Explain where to store electronic information on the college network
I store everything I need on my memory stick. This is because I always have
my memory stick on me. This makes it so all information is in the same place
and I can bring it anywhere I need.
• Explain where you upload work when it is completed
If the information needs to be checked then it will be put on blogger.com.
This is because it is a public site that anyone can access very easily. If it
doesn’t need to be checked it will also get stored on my memory stick under
the specific folder.

14. Task 6 - How do you learn best?
• Explain some of the ways you think you learn best [refer to the VAK
questionnaire results in tutorial]:
1.1
The best I learn is visually. I am a visual learner as it easier to copy what someone is showing you
instead of being told as I can forget very easily. This also gives a memory of how to do it as I can
picture it in my head and play it out till I remember the full thing.
15. Task 6 - How do you learn best?
• What makes it hard for you to study?
Distractions and lack of fun within the topic. I can get easily distracted
upon everything. If the work isnt entertaining in any way to me then I
will more than likely stop paying attention and do something else
• What strategies do you think would benefit your studies?
Finding the topic entertaining. This could be done by including
something I enjoy/ want to do. This way the project is a lot more fun
and easier for me to do
