To address poverty, efforts are being made to increase access to basic needs, remove barriers to services, control overpopulation, and increase income opportunities. Organizations working on poverty issues include the United Nations, Millennium Development Goals, and groups focused on ending child poverty and monitoring poverty levels.
Poverty: The Growing Wealth Divide
This venture was started to create awareness about the growing poverty in our world which is partially due to globalization and the wealth cycle. We hope to help others by spreading awareness such that even if we may not be able to contribute directly to those who are impoverished, we can catch the attention of those who can.

Traditional cultural structures and community elders advocate for care and support of widows and orphans living with HIV. In some Kenyan communities, widows and orphans infected with or affected by HIV were denied inheritance and services. USAID conducted workshops to build capacity of the Luo Council of Elders to support these groups. Over 50 widows and 200 orphans were resettled, stigma was reduced, and livelihoods and quality of life improved through this intervention.

Socio-cultural attitudes also prioritize boys' education and restrict girls' activities outside the home.
2. Literate women have the ability to gain knowledge from reading to improve family life, care for children's health and hygiene, and participate in social activities. Literacy also allows women to communicate effectively, keep household accounts, and make informed decisions.

How poor get poor?
I look at three phases over which a household gets into a poverty trap. This, I believe, is critical to understand as it harbours solutions to the poverty problems. Further, it also leads us to a basic framework for solving the poverty crisis everywhere.
Snakes and Ladders Approach
Getting a community out of poverty needs a customized solution. Each community faces its challenges (snakes) but has opportunities (ladders) hidden within its structure. This framework may be used to build a customized approach for the community.
Structural v/s transient poverty
One of the central idea I want to highlight is the difference between temporary poverty - one that household can get out of versus structural poverty - one that seduces the household into believing that they can get out of poverty.

Emerging Trends Between Countries On Youth

Empowerment has become a widely used goal but is poorly defined. Key factors constraining women's empowerment include their heavy workload, isolation, illiteracy, traditional views limiting participation, lack of funds, conflicts, and discriminatory policies. Empowering women requires addressing these issues through gender analysis, reducing drudgery, raising rights awareness, ensuring equal leadership opportunities, organizing women's groups, expanding access to financial services, increasing literacy, improving health services, and halting child marriage.

Power Grid Model is an open source project from Linux Foundation Energy and provides a calculation engine that is increasingly essential for DSOs. It offers a standards-based foundation enabling real-time power systems analysis, simulations of electrical power grids, and sophisticated what-if analysis. In addition, it enables in-depth studies and analysis of the electrical power grid’s behavior and performance. This comprehensive model incorporates essential factors such as power generation capacity, electrical losses, voltage levels, power flows, and system stability.
Power Grid Model is currently being applied in a wide variety of use cases, including grid planning, expansion, reliability, and congestion studies. It can also help in analyzing the impact of renewable energy integration, assessing the effects of disturbances or faults, and developing strategies for grid control and optimization.

zkStudyClub - LatticeFold: A Lattice-based Folding Scheme and its Application...
Folding is a recent technique for building efficient recursive SNARKs. Several elegant folding protocols have been proposed, such as Nova, Supernova, Hypernova, Protostar, and others. However, all of them rely on an additively homomorphic commitment scheme based on discrete log, and are therefore not post-quantum secure. In this work we present LatticeFold, the first lattice-based folding protocol based on the Module SIS problem. This folding protocol naturally leads to an efficient recursive lattice-based SNARK and an efficient PCD scheme. LatticeFold supports folding low-degree relations, such as R1CS, as well as high-degree relations, such as CCS. The key challenge is to construct a secure folding protocol that works with the Ajtai commitment scheme. The difficulty, is ensuring that extracted witnesses are low norm through many rounds of folding. We present a novel technique using the sumcheck protocol to ensure that extracted witnesses are always low norm no matter how many rounds of folding are used. Our evaluation of the final proof system suggests that it is as performant as Hypernova, while providing post-quantum security.
