4. Brown v. Board of Education- this was the case that
was the setting of Plessy vs. Fergusson case in which
set up separate but equal. Although it did not integrate
the disabled per se, it became the predecessor of
equal rights for the disabled.
PARC v Commonwealth of Pennsylvania –
Pennsylvania Association for Retarded Children sued
PA for failing to support adequate academic
experiences.
Mills v Board of Education- this case was brought
before the federal court and it outlined the due process
for safeguards, labeling, placement, exclusion.
